A Brentwood family had to cancel their four-day vacation plans after waking up to find their family trailer had been stolen sometime between 11:00 pm and 5:00 am last night.

The incident occurred on Mills Drive in Brentwood where someone cut off the lock and drove off with the family trailer where they were set to use it for the first time.

According to the owners of the trailer, they have filed a report with the Brentwood Police Department and were set to leave this morning for four days. Those plans have been cancelled and will be staying home without the trailer to camp in.

If anyone has any information about this trailer, please contact the Brentwood Police Department.

As a rule of thumb when I park my trailer out front before a trip I always chain the rear tires. That with 5 locking lug nuts, I’ve never had mine touched. If its got wheels someones gonna try and steal it.

That really sucks for sure. As avid RV’ers ourselves will keep an eye out for it

There aren’t too many ways out of your neighborhood. I would check with neighbors on all the exit streets to see if someone has securit video of them driving down the street with it. Might be worth a try.

And another thing maybe if Brentwood PD didn’t focus on sitting across the street from the local Bars lFUCKN with every car leaving the bar just to jam everyone up and focussed ALITTLE more on patrolling DIFFRENT areas of our community these types of crimes will slow down.JUS SAYN !!!!!!!!!!!
