Original Incident

On June 2 at approximately 7:30 pm, Dublin Police responded to Clifden Court following a report of a robbery and shooting in the area. Upon arrival, police learned that a 60-year-old male had returned home to his residence, and upon parking his vehicle, was approached by three unknown males, who demanded the resident’s belongings. A struggle ensued.

The three suspects physically assaulted the victim before robbing him of his personal belongings. The suspect ran to a nearby vehicle and the victim gave chase. The victim attempted to retrieve his stolen items from the suspect vehicle when he was shot by one of the suspects.

The suspects fled the scene, leaving behind the victim, suffering from the gunshot wound. Dublin police were unable to locate the suspects. The victim was transported to a local hospital and underwent surgery for his injuries. The victim was listed in stable condition and is expected to recover.
