At 1:00 pm Sunday, the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District responded to a report of a vehicle crash on Highway 4 at Discovery Bay Blvd in the Town of Discovery Bay.
It was reported that there was a t-bone collision. The incident prompted three AMR ambulances and two medical helicopters to respond. The crash blocked the intersection.
According to the fire district, four patients were transported to local hospitals, including two by medical helicopter.
As of 2:34 pm, all lanes were open.
