Discovery Bay to Host Clam Chowder Cook-off Saturday

Attention Clam Chowder lovers, you do not want to miss this weekends event in Discovery Bay as the 1st Annual Clam Chowder Cook-Off will begin at 11:00 am on Saturday with judging to occur around 2:00 pm.

According to Amanda Dove of the Delta Sun Times, there are 10 entrees.  You can taste the chowder for $5 which gets you 10 tasting cups. Wine and beer will also be available. The event will also feature music and dancing. Bring a can of food for $1 off. Benefits Delta Community Christian Food Pantry.

The event will be held at the Discovery Bay Marina Boardwalk
