At 8:56 am Tuesday, a vehicle crash injured three people including one major injury which prompted the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District to request a medical helicopter.
The crash occurred in the Town of Discovery Bay at Marsh Creek Road and Bixler Road and is currently blocking all lanes of traffic according to the California Highway Patrol.
Engine 59 arrived on scene and reported three injuries which included a major injury, moderate injury and a minor injury. A second AMR unit was requested to the scene.
