Discovery Bay: Adult Mosquito Fogging Set For Wednesday Morning

Due to the detection of West Nile virus in mosquitoes in the area, the Contra Costa Mosquito & Vector Control District will be fogging by truck to control adult mosquitoes on Wednesday July 16 between 5:30 am and 6:30 am.

 LOCATION(S):  

 
DISCOVERY BAY: 
 
The area to be treated is bordered on the west by Channel Drive and Cherry Hills Drive; on the east by unincorporated agriculture; on the north by Marina Road; and on the south by Wayfarer Drive and Cherry Hills Road.
 
MATERIALS USED:   
The insecticide to be used is Pyrocide 7067 applied at a rate of .75 ounces per acre by truck-mounted, ultra low volume sprayer.

what about the rest of us out here on M. Creek Rd.

if your seeing more than average mosquitoes call the district and tell them. your going to get a lot of mosquitoes no matter what out on M creek road.. comes with part of living there.
