Delta-Antioch Kiwanis Event Raises Nearly $5k

Although final count has still not been finalized, the Delta-Antioch Kiwanis raised nearly $5,000 during this past Saturday’s Tri Tip Dinner Fundraiser. The event sold over 200 tickets and included 25 auctioned items and 30 raffled goodies. All of the proceeds will be distributed to local charities and scholarships.

“The Kiwanis Club of the Delta – Antioch hit it out of the park for the children of Antioch and the world with this event,” said Argentina Davila-Luevano, club president.

The Kiwanis meet each Tuesday morning at 7:00 am at Denny’s located at 4823 on Lone Tree Way in Antioch. Assemblyman Jim Frazier is expected to speak this morning.
