The following are a sampling of calls handled by the Brentwood Police Department between  December 29 – January 5 according to information provided by Brentwood Police.

Assault

  • 12/30 – Orchard Dr.: ARR hit VIC in the face causing a small laceration to the lip. ARR was given a PTA and released from custody.
  • 1/1 – Jacaranda St.: VIC stated she was assaulted by six unidentified RES(s), and two days later sought out medical attention. RES was contacted by INV-1 and INV-2 in the City of Antioch two days after assault, and then brought to the hospital.

Auto Theft

  • 12/29: Brentwood Blvd: VIC reported that his vehicle had been stolen from the north lot of the Holiday Inn Express on 12/28/14 at approximately 1958 hrs.
  • 12/29 – Brentwood Blvd: Vehicle stolen from auto sales lot. Occurred from 12/26/14 at 1700 hour to 12/27/14 at 1100 hours. RP advised vehicle recovered by Oakley.
  • 1/2 – Kayla Pl: RES took VIC vehicle without permission. One key possibly missing. Occurred 01/01/15 1800-2300.

Burglary – Auto

  • 1/2 – Sand Creek: RES forced entry into vehicle, stole a bag which was located at Buffalo Wild Wings. Property damage only.
  • 1/3 – Lone Tree Way: RP called and stated her vehicle window was smashed and a grey hiking backpack containing a Bluetooth speaker and apple head phones were stolen.
  • 1/3 – E. County Club Dr.: Unknown responsible(s) stole items from victim’s unlocked vehicle. Occurred from approximately 12/31/2014 at 2100 hours, and 01/01/2015 at 0900 hours.
  • 1/4 – Sand Creek: Unknown responsible(s) broke into victim’s vehicle and stole his gym bag and wallet. Occurred on 01/04/2015, from approximately 1745 hours and 1830 hours.

Burglary – Business

  • 12/29 – Balfour: ARR entered the business to steal food items, he stole merchandise and exited the business. He was arrested and booked into MDF.
  • 1/5 – Lone Tree Way: Unknown RES forced entry into location and stole safe with cash and TV monitor. Occ’d over night. No alarm activation.

Burglary – Residential

  • 12/30 – Las Colinas Dr.: RES shattered VIC’s rear door to his residence. Once inside the responsible took the VIC’s two 50” televisions.
  • 1/2 – Peace Lane: Unknown RES entered VIC’s residence through an unlocked bedroom door and removed property. Occurred 1/2/2015 between 1900-2130 hours.
  • 1/3 – Bellerose Ct.: RES entered VIC residence through an unlocked door while residence was occupied by all three VICs. RES took jewelry, a purse and cash belonging to VIC-1 but left other valuables untouched. Occurred 01/02/15 – 01/03/15 @ 2230 – 0730 hours. Loss: $3350
  • 1/3 – Pearson Dr.: Unknown responsible(s) attempted to enter victim’s residence through the garage door and the garage’s side door. The responsible(s) causing damage to the victim’s garage door and side door. Occurred from approximately 12/31/2014 at 0315 hours, and 01/03/2015 at 1509 hours.
  • 1/5 – Spyglass: VIC said his residence was broken into and watches and jewelry were stolen.

 

Burglary – Theft From Auto

  • 12/29 – Majestic Ln: RES entered VIC’S locked vehicle and stole VIC’S vehicle user manual and loan documentation from the glove box. (12/26/2014 1000-12/29/2014 0530)

Counterfeit

  • 1/2 – Balfour: RES attempted to pass a counterfeit $100 bill to drive thru employee. RP called while RES was on scene. RES fled in a Ford Taurus with California Plate. Unable to locate RES on scene.

 

Drunk Driver

  • 12/30 – Minnesota: ARR found slumped over her steering wheel and drooling on herself. Displayed objective signs of intoxication. Refused to participate in any testing, but agreed to give blood. ARR to MDF.
  • 12/31 – Mill Creek Way: ARR was contacted after a VC violation. ARR was found to be driving under the influence of alcoholic beverage. ARR released on a signed PTA.
  • 1/1 – Armstrong Way: ARR determined to be driving Veh under the influence of alcohol/drugs. ARR released on PTA.
  • 1/3 – Lone Tree Way: ARR was stopped for CVC violations. ARR was determined to be under the influence of alcohol. ARR to MDF.

Grand Theft

  • 12/29 – Sand Creek: VIC reported her phone was stolen from her jacket pocket while she was talking on the phone using her bluetooth device. A few days later, RES contacted VIC asking for $100 as a reward to return the phone.
  • 1/1 – Pearson Dr.: Vehicle was left unlocked and multiple items stolen from within. Total loss valued at $1750.00. Occurred from 12/30/14 at 2100 hours to 01/01/14 0700 horus.

Grand Theft

  • 1/15 – Sand Creek: RP called for a theft in progress. ARR was apprehended across the street from the business. ARR was found in possession of approximately $1,300 of merchandise from VIC business. ARR to MDF.

Fraud

  • 12/29 – Marsh Ct.: VIC called to report that a phone account from another state had been opened in her name.
  • 1/5 – Brentwood Blvd: VIC had her identity stolen and fraudulent transactions made in BPD jurisdiction.

Narcotics Violation

  • 12/30 – Ellen Ln: ARR- was contacted and found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia, in violation of probation. Released on PTA.
  • 1/3 – Walnut Bl: ARR stopped for VC violations and found to have suspended license. A vehicle inventory prior to storage located approximately 3.5g of methamphetamine. ARR to MDF.
  • 1/4 – Lone Tree Way: ARR observed passed out in his vehicle at a green light. ARR was found in possession of 19.6 grams of cocaine and 51.8 grams of marijuana for sales. ARR’s driver’s license suspended for DUI and on felony probation. ARR to MDF. VEH stored
  • 1/4 – Roselinda Ct.: ARR was contacted on a suspicious circumstance. ARR determined to possess 1.9 gr suspected methamphetamine and over 28.5 gr of suspected marijuana. ARR was determined to be on probation. ARR to MDF. CIT was determined to possess small amount of marijuana and tobacco paraphernalia. CIT released …
  • 1/5 – Balfour: ARR was found to be in possession of a controlled substance.
  • 1/5 – Balfour: ARR was contacted for being an unwanted guest and determined to possess a suspected controlled substance.

 

 

Petty Theft

  • 12/29 – Doeskin Tr.: VIC’s earrings were stolen from her front porch after UPS delivered the package.
  • 12/29 – Sand Creek: VIC’s brown purse was stolen from her shoppping cart when she wasn’t looking. The purse contained identification cards and health care cards.
  • 12/29 – Walnut Blvd: ARR entered business in violation of a trespass admonishment, and stole a pack of Starburst candy. Total estimated loss $1.89. ARR to MDF.
  • 12/30 – Brentwood Blvd: Unknown RES withdrew $800 from VIC bank account.
  • 12/30 – Griffith Ln: UNK RES stole suitcase from VIC’s unlocked vehicle. Suitcase was recovered at Orchard Park and returned to VIC. 2 shirts and 2 dresses were missing from the suitcase. estimated total value $100.00
  • 12/31 – Cottonwood Cm: RES broke into a Coca Cola vending machine and stole the cash box with unknown amount of cash in it. RES also damaged the machine when cutting into it. (12/30/2014 1500 – 12/31/2014 0830)
  • 1/1 – Spyglass Dr.: VIC left vehicle unlocked and unknown RES entered vehicle and stole insurance card, garage door opener, and $60 pair of boots.
  • 1/2 – Washington Dr: RES entered VIC’s unlocked vehicle and stole cash, a cell phone charger and vehicle paperwork. Occurred 12/31/14 @ 1400 to 01/02/15 @ 0915 Loss: $35
  • 1/2 – Sand Creek: RES was detained for shoplifting. RES fled and was apprehended by Loss Prevention. RES claimed he was assaulted during the encounter.
  • 1/3 – Lone Tree Way: RES-1 and RES-2 entered business and stole a total of 4 ‘Four Lokos’ alcholic beverages.
  • 1/3 – Brentwood Blvd: RES’ stole clothing, shoes, and other merchandise and fled in RES vehicle.
  • 1/5 – Brentwood Blvd: RES stole clothes, a tote, and diapers.
  • 1/6 – Oak St.: RES stole merchandise from store and when confronted by VIC, RES closed car door striking VIC causing minor redness.

Vandalism

  • 12/30 – Regent Dr.: Unknown RES smashed VIC’s driver side windows by unknown means. No property taken. Approximate damage $600.
  • 1/1 – Giotto Dr.: Windshield and side window of VIC’S vehicle shattered.
  • 1/2 – Broderick Dr.: RES entered VIC’s residence and broke a window during a verbal dispute. Approximately $200 in damage.
  • 1/2 – Balfour: RP reported graffiti under the over-pass. I located the graffiti and documented it. RP requested call-back but no answer.
  • 1/2 – Ranchwood Dr.: SUS threw unknown item through VIC’s residence window. Estimated damage: $400.
  • 1/3 – Concord: Responsible(s) used black spray paint to write on wall of business.
  • 1/5 – Vineyards PW: Light pole, cement structure, portable containers and water truck defaced with black and white spray paint. Occurred between approximately 1/2/15 1500 hours and 1/5/15 0700 hours.
  • 1/6 – Sand Creek Rd: Unknown RES smashed the rear window of VIC’s vehicle with a rock causing $300 in damage. Incident occurred on 01/05/15 at 2357 hours.
  • 1/6 – Minnesota: RES stole VIC’s mail from her residential mailbox. VIC confronted RES and he handed her the mail back then left.

Warrant Arrest

  • 12/30 – O’Hara Ave: ARR was placed under arrest for removing his ankle monitor. ARR to Juvenile Hall.
  • 1/2 – Sage/Sparrow St.: ARR contacted during reported suspicious person and found to have parole hold. ARR to MDF.
  • 1/4 – Chaucer Dr.: ARR contacted during traffic enforcement stop for VCOO. ARR found to have two out of county outstanding warrants. ARR cite and released.
