The following are a sampling of calls handled by the Brentwood Police Department between December 21 through January 6 according to information provided by Brentwood Police.

Animal Calls

  • 12/26 – Carnegie Lane: OWN #2’s dog attacked OWN #1’s dog. OWN #1 sustained an injury when she attempted to separate the dogs. Animal Control responded.

Assault

  • 12/24 – Oak St.: VIC, RES1, RES2, and RES3 were involved in a physical fight. VIC sustained minor injury. Info only.
  • 12/27 – Second St.: RES battered VIC
  • 12/27 – Anastasia Dr: RES punched VIC. VIC does not desire prosecution. Minor injuries.
  • 12/27 – Balfour : RES struck VIC in the face with a closed fist. RES kicked VIC’s vehicle, causing damages to the driver’s side door. Occurred 12/26/15 at approximately 2320 hours.
  • 12/28 – Adams Lane: ARR punched VIC several times on the side of the head. ARR fled the scene prior to officers arrival and was found walking on Touluse Ln shortly after. ARR released on a PTA.
  • 12/28 – Walnut Blvd: RES pushed VIC, causing her to fall and sustain a head injury. No prosecution desired.
  • 12/29 – Sand Creek Road: ARR1, ARR2, and ARR3 were contacted under Sand Creek Rd and O’Hara. ARR1 was combative towards officers during the detention. All ARR’s transported to MDF.
  • 12/31 – Valley Green Dr.: RES and VIC-1 engaged in a physical altercation. RES left the residence prior to officer’s arrival.
  • 1/3 – First St.: VICs were battered at location by RESs.
  • 1/3 – Atherton: VIC-was assaulted following a verbal argument. ARR was placed under citizens arrest and later released from the P.D. on a signed PTA.
  • 1/3 – Lone tree Way: ARR-1 detained ARR-2 for a theft. ARR-1 pushed ARR-2 with his right hand/arm causing ARR-2 to push back knocking ARR-1 to the ground. No injuries.
  • 1/5 – Sand Creek Road: ARR was contacted while standing in middle of the road swinging items at passing vehicles. ARR became combative with responding officers and was subsequently struck with an ECD. ARR transported to Sutter Delta via AMR prior to being booked at MDF.
  • 1/6 – Brentwood Blvd: ARRs battered VIC in the street. ARR1 also had an outstanding arrest warrant for a violation of probation. ARRs to MDF.
  • 1/7 – Oak St.: VIC-1 and VIC-2 were involved in a physical altercation with unknown males who fled the scene. Both VIC’s did not wish prosecution.
  • 1/7 – Pasco Dr.: RES was in a verbal argument with VIC. During the argument RES grabbed VIC’S hand causing an injury. RES left the scene prior to Officer’s arrival.

Auto Recovered

  • 12/22 – Glenwillow Dr.: ARR stopped for VC violations and found to be driving a vehicle taken during a carjacking in San Pablo. ARR to MDF.
  • 1/3 – Balfour Road: ARR-1 and ARR-2 found to be in possession of stolen vehicle. ARR-1 found to have an outstanding felony warrant out of CCCSO for 3455(b)(1) PC. ARR-2 found to be in possession of burglary tools and drug paraphernalia. ARR-1 and ARR-2 to MDF.

Auto Theft

  • 12/22 – Sand Creek Road: Vehicle stolen from the Streets of Brentwood. Vehicle entered into SVS.
  • 12/24 – Lone Tree Way: Vehicle stolen (Occ’d 12/24 0000-0800 hrs.).
  • 12/26 – Sunrise Dr: RES took VIC’s vehicle without permission
  • 12/29 – Cristina Way: VIC’s vehicle was stolen on 12/29/2015, between 0530-0945 hours. Vehicle was entered into SVS as stolen.
  • 12/30 – Woodside Dr.: RES stole VIC’s vehicle which was parked in front of RP’s residence. Vehicle entered into SVS.
  • 12/30: Gristmill Dr.: 99 white Ford Econoline stolen overnight. All keys accounted for. Vehicle entered into SVS.
  • 12/30 – Gristmill Dr.: Sometime between 12-29-15 at 2100 hours and 12-30-15 at 0700 hours, RES took VIC’s van without permission.
  • 1/3 – Boulders St.: VIC’s vehicle was stolen 1/2-1/3 between 0400 and 0700 hrs. Vehicle entered into SVS.
  • 1/4 – Lillian St.: Unknown RES took VIC’s vehicle without permission. Vehicle entered into SVS.
  • 1/5 – Pistachio Pl: RES stole VIC’S vehicle. Vehicle was entered into SVS.
  • 1/5 – Caper Dr.: VIC vehicle was stolen. (See CHP 180).
  • 1/7 – Cesar Chavez Dr.: VIC vehicle was stolen. (See CHP 180).

Burglary – Business

  • 12/21 – Second Street: RES stole several items from VIC including audio visual equipment and a Wii console. Total loss approximately $3000.00.
  • 12/22 – Village: RP reported that SUS entered the on-site office and stole two checks from the desk.
  • 12/29 – Sand Creek Road: RES broke the glass to the front door of business, entered and stole a UWheel brand hoverboard valued at $700.00.
  • 1/4 – Balfour Road: RES forced entry in business and stole approximately $1500. Occurred between 1/3/16 at 2030 hrs and 1/4/16 at 0559 hrs.
  • 1/4 – Lone Tre Way: RP found a window to the business removed but advised there was no loss.

Burglary – Residential

  • 12/24 – Shadowcliff Way: Attempted entry into VIC’S residence from the garage (Occ’d 12/24 0645-0930 hrs.).
  • 12/31 – Kramer Ct.: RES entered residence and destroyed property. RES fled scene north on foot.

Burglary – Theft from Auto

  • 12/22 – Putter Dr.: Responsible(s) broke into victim’s vehicles and took clothing and stereo face plate. No damage occurred to either vehicle.
  • 12/23 – Sand Creek Road: Unknown RES smashed VIC’s vehicle window and stole a bag.
  • 12/25 – DeMartini Lane: Rear passenger side window shattered to gain entry to locked vehicle. No items taken. Occurred between 12/23/15 1200 hours and 12/25/15 1240 hours.
  • 12/25 – Village Dr.: VIC vehicle was broken into, multiple items stolen. The estimated loss was $603.
  • 12/28 – Cedarwood Tr: Unk RES entered VIC’s unlocked vehicle and stole $40 in cash/coins.
  • 12/29 – Copprfield Ct.: RES forced entry into VIC’s vehicle and stole a $180 stereo/gps 7 inch display along with $25. Unknown point of entry. RES also entered another of VIC’s vehicle’s which was unlocked and stole $10 in change.
  • 12/29 – Lone Tree Way: VIC’s vehicle broken into and items taken. Total estimated loss $340.00.
  • 12/31 – Sand Creek Road: RES smashed VIC’s vehicle window and stole property.
  • 1/1 – Henry Hart Dr.: RES entered VIC’s vehicle through back window, unknown loss at this time.
  • 1/3 – Brentwood Blvd: RES smashed driver side rear window and took a duffle bag containing VIC’s clothing valued at $140.00.

DUI

  • 12/24 – Walnut Blvd: ARR was found sleeping inside of vehicle in the roadway. ARR was DUI and resisted arrest. ARR was transported to MDF.
  • 12/27 – Fairview Ave: ARR contacted while sitting in driver’s seat of a disabled vehicle blocking the traffic. ARR admitted to driving and was determined to be DUI. ARR to MDF.
  • 1/3 – Giotto Dr.: ARR stopped for CVC violations and determined to be DUI. ARR to MDF.

Fraud

  • 12/29 – Foxtail Ct.: RES opened several accounts using VIC’s personal information. Transactions made outside BPD jurisdiction.
  • 1/1 – Shasta Daisy Dr.: RES opened Target credit card in VIC’s name.
  • 1/2 – Lone Tree Way: On 12/13/15, RES used RP’S Kohl’s account and charged $577.15.
  • 1/3 – Holsapple Way: RES opened Comcast account in victim’s name.
  • 1/4 – Village Dr.: UNK RES opened and attempted to use various credit accounts in the VIC’s name.
  • 1/5 – Winged Foot Rd: ARR was contacted during a fraud investigation and determined to have a felony warrant for identity theft. ARR to MDF. (Check Fraud)
  • 1/6 – Lone Tree Way: RES used fraudulent check to purchase merchandise. Total amount $740.46

Grand Theft

  • 12/27 – Sand Creek Rd: Two BMA’s entered store and stole two iPhone 6’s from the display. Total loss was $1400.

H&S Violation

  • 1/3 – Lone Tree Way: ARR was contacted and found be under the influence of a CNS stimulant. ARR to MDF.
  • 1/7 – Town Centre Tre: ARR’s contacted and found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and under the influence of a CNS stimulant. ARRs to MDF.

Narcotic Drug Law Violations

  • 12/31 – Lone Tree Way: ARR contacted on foot and found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine and paraphernalia. ARR on probation and transported to MDF.
  • 1/7 – Lone Tree Way: ARR contacted and found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. ARR released on a signed PTA.

Other Violations

  • 12/23 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR was contacted for a VC violation and was found to be in possession of shaved keys while on probation for vehicle. theft. ARR to MDF.
  • 12/26 – O’Hara Ave: ARR contacted for VC violation and provided sibling’s name. ARR to MDF. VEH towed and stored.
  • 1/1 – Lone Tree Way: ARR stopped for vehicle code violation and found to have an outstanding warrant out of Arkansas. ARR to MDF.
  • 1/5 – Ray Ct.: VIC recovered a fraudulent check as payment for a washer and dryer he was selling online. The items were not sent. Additionally, three checks were fraudulently written on VIC’s account.
  • 1/6 – Jeffery Way: ARR stopped for vehicle code violation, and found to be in possession of stolen property and drug paraphernalia. ARR to MDF.
  • 1/6 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR refused to comply with officers orders, then resisted detention efforts. ARR to MDF.

Outside Assist

  • 1/6 – Edna Hill Middle School: An Oakland student made a threat to shoot up his school. OPD was notified.

Parole/Probation Violations

  • 1/3 – Sand Creek Rd: ARR on probation and found to be in possession of alcohol, in violation of probation terms. ARR transported to MDF.

Petty theft

  • 12/22 – Lone Oak Ct.: Responsible(s) removed mail from victim’s mailbox.
  • 12/23 – Hawthorn Ct.: Responsible took victim’s Christmas Decorations from front porch of residence.
  • 12/23 – Chambers Cl: VIC paid RES for a hover-board, which she did not receive.
  • 12/25 – Autumn Valley Way: RES 1 tampered with VIC VEH. RES released after it was determined no prosecution was desired.
  • 12/25 – Sand Creek Rd: RES stole musical equipment from VIC’s locked vehicle. Loss of $900.
  • 12/27 – Mediterraneo Way: RES took VIC’s keys without permission. Estimated total loss $200
  • 12/27 – Larkspur Lane: RES stole VIC’s handicap placard from unlocked vehicle.
  • 12/28 – Lexington Ct.: VIC reported her prescription medications were taken by RES. Estimated loss is $12.
  • 12/28 – Lone Tree Way: RESP stole several items from Babies R’ US and then fled in a newer white Volkswagen Bug (unknown license plate).
  • 12/29 – Aurora Ct.: VIC left vehicle door unlocked. $6 cash, the registration card, user’s manual, prescription sunglasses and old batteries were taken from inside the vehicle. Total estimated loss is $71.
  • 12/30 – Lone Tree Way: RES entered business and shoplifted a cart full of groceries. RES abandoned the shopping cart outside the business and fled the scene prior to police arrival.
  • 12/30 – Oak St.: ARR in possession of stolen access cards after previously using them. ARR released on NTA.
  • 1/3 – Brookdale: Mail boxes broken into
  • 1/4 – Balfour: 2 unknown RES stole alcohol from VIC. Total loss was $39.98.
  • 1/7 – Brentwood Blvd: RES stole two money orders from VIC’s unlocked vehicle.
    Property Lost
  • 12/21 – Lone Tree Way: RP lost two rings valued at $5,500 while at the business.

Robbery

  • 12/21 – Sand Creek Road: RES robbed the bank by presenting a demand note and saying he had a gun. Loss was $496 in cash.
  • 12/29 – Lone Tree Way: ARR fought with a loss prevention employee after shoplifting from the business. ARR transported to MDF.

Trespassing

  • 12/29 – Pacific Grove Ct. – ARR entered VIC’s backyard without permission. ARR was released on a PTA.

Vandalism

  • 12/22 – Majestic Lane: RES broke out the rear window of VIC’S vehicle.
  • 12/28 – Indiana Ave: VICs front window was broken by unknown RES
  • 12/30 – Livorno St.: A face was painted on soundwall. No RES info.
  • 12/30 – Central Blvd: RES wrote words on roadway sign in permanent marker
  • 1/7 – Red Rock Dr.: Responsible pried open neighborhood mail box causing damage to door, hinges, and lock. No known theft. 13 addresses involved. Vehicle Code Violations
  • 12/21 – Gann St.: ARR failed to yield for a traffic enforcement stop and obstructed a police officer while performing his duties. ARR to MDF.
  • 12/25 – Lynn Drive: ARR stopped for suspicion of DUI. ARR determined to have suspended DL for DUI and on felony probation. ARR to MDF.
  • 12/27 – Jeffery Way: ARR stopped for VC violation. ARR determined to have suspended DL for DUI. ARR released on NTA.
  • 12/29 – Sand Creek Road: ARR was stopped for a CVC violation and found to be driving on a suspended license for DUI. ARR was released on a NTA.
  • 12/30 – Breton Dr.: Vehicle had rear window broken out and ignition punched.
  • 1/1 – Cutting Bl: ARR was stopped during a DUI checkpoint and found to be driving while suspended for DUI. ARR was released on a PTA.
  • 1/4 – Balfour Rd: ARR contacted for VC violation and found to be suspended for DUI. VEH towed and stored. ARR released on signed NTA.
  • 1/6 – Lone Tre Way: ARR stopped for vehicle code violations and found to be driving with a suspended license for DUI. ARR released on a signed NTA, and vehicle towed from scene.

Warrant Arrest

  • 12/21 – Griffith Lane: ARR vehicle stopped for a CVC violation. ARR had two outstanding warrants, was driving with a suspended driver license for DUI, and in possession of burglary tools. ARR to MDF.
  • 12/22 – Sand Creek Road: ARR contacted and determined to have outstanding felony no bail ramey warrant for formal probation revocation. ARR to MDF.
  • 12/24 – Balfour: ARR contacted for welfare check and found to have two misdemeanor warrants for 484/488 PC.
  • 12/25 – Sand Creek Road: ARR was contacted at his home during a warrant service. ARR was transported and booked at MDF.
  • 12/25 – Balfour: Vehicle stopped for VC violations. Passenger (ARR) had two misdemeanor warrants in JAWS. ARR to MDF.
  • 12/28 – Towncentre Tr: ARR hailed officer and it was determined she had a no-bail warrant. ARR to MDF
  • 12/30 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR contacted and determined to have an outstanding felony warrant. ARR to MDF.
  • 1/4 – Balfour Rd: ARR contacted and found to have an outstanding warrant. ARR to MDF.
  • 1/4 – Shiles LP: ARR was contacted and found to have a warrant (F-23152 CVC, Bail $70,000) . ARR to MDF.
  • 1/6 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR was contacted for VC violation and found to have a warrant from CCCSO for H&N 655. ARR to MDF.

Weapons Violation

  • 12/31 – Concord Ave: RES-1 shot a BB gun while at a park and RES-2 brandished a firearm at VIC. RES-1 and RES-2 fled the scene prior to police arrival.
  • 1/4 – Brentwood Blvd; VEH was stopped for VC violation. ARR-1 was driving the vehicle ARR-2 was in the passenger seat and on felony probation. Search of the vehicle revealed unloaded firearm and ammunition in the glove box. ARR’s to MDF.
