City of Brentwood Hold Emergency Operations Center Training

This past week, the City of Brentwood held an Emergency Operations Center Training where the Brentwood Police Department and members of city staff simulated a response to a large earthquake.

The training took place over the past four days where they were learning how to respond to a large incident with multiple impacts to a city.

According to Brentwood Police Chief Tom Hansen, this was a type of “stress test” on not only the police department, but on the entire city from the finance dept who would work on getting funds released to working with the fire department and neighboring agencies.
