CHP Picks Up Two Dogs Along Highway 4 in Discovery Bay, Looking for Owner

by ECT

The California Highway Patrol, Contra Costa Division, picked up two Staffordshire Terriers, one male and one female this morning in Discovery Bay in lanes of Highway 4.

CHP Officer Flores along with a Good Samaritan were able to round up the friendly pups without incident. Officer Flores and the dogs seemed to forge a special friendship during this whole experience.

These lucky dogs were turned over to Contra Costa County Animal Services for their safety. To contact Contra Costa Animal Services, their main line number is (925) 335-8300. You may also visit them on the web.

The CHP is asking for the public to assist them in locating their owners for a reunion.
