CHP Investigating Highway 4 Shooting in Antioch

According to the California Highway Patrol, they responded to a report of a possible Highway 4 Shooting between the City of Antioch.

The incident occurred around 3:15 pm which occurred on Westbound Highway 4 at L Street in the City of Antioch.

CHP said upon arrival, the victim vehicle, a grey Volkswagen sedan, appeared to have bullet holes in it. The solo male victim from the Volkswagen was not injured and remained on scene.

The suspect vehicle fled the area. HWY-4 westbound is temporarily shutdown for the investigation and all traffic is being diverted off HWY-4 at L Street.

Hopefully with less traffic on the roads it’ll make it easier for investigators to review the video footage from the dozen cameras they have along that stretch.
