CHP: 18-Year-Old Killed in Solo Highway 4 Crash in Antioch

The California Highway Patrol reports that around 10:17 am Wednesday, they responded to a vehicle crash at Highway 4 just west of Somersville Road in the City of Antioch.

Upon emergency personnel and CHP arrival, it was determined that a 2000 Toyota Tundra had crashed and overturned, subsequently ejecting the solo female driver (18yrs old from Antioch) onto the roadway.

According to CHP, it appears that the female driver was not wearing her seatbelt and tragically sustained critical injuries from the crash ejection. She was transported to John Muir Hospital in Concord but succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased by medical personnel at the hospital.

The Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Coroners Office will be handling the release of her identity.

It is unknown at this time if alcohol or drugs were a factor in this collision but it is still under investigation. If anyone witnessed this collision or the events leading up to it, please contact Contra Costa CHP in Martinez, (925) 646-4980.

The newspapers online or on the news about her at all ALOT of foul play. I feel about my daughter please help our family understand what ever happened that night her boyfriend murdered her hitting her in the head while driving her dad’s car!
