BRENTWOOD, CA – The City of Brentwood and its consultant, Urban Planning Partners, Inc., will be hosting a Virtual Open House for the Brentwood Boulevard and Downtown Specific Plan Updates on Thursday, September 9, 2021, at 7:00 PM.

A Specific Plan is a tool that assists the City of Brentwood in implementing city policies for development proposals within a defined area, in this case, Brentwood Boulevard and Downtown Brentwood. A specific plan may be as general as setting forth broad policy concepts or as detailed as providing development direction, including type, location, and intensity. It may also include the design use and infrastructure capacity. Specific plans will be updated to reflect the desires of the community.

This virtual meeting will allow residents and area stakeholders a chance to share ideas on improving and reimaging the Brentwood Boulevard and Downtown areas. Input gathered will help shape the future City land-use policies in these Specific Plan areas. More information about the Specific Plan Update process for Brentwood Boulevard and Downtown can be found at www.brentwoodplanupdates.com.
