Brentwood: Six Juveniles Arrested After Sunday Night Crime Spree

by ECT

BRENTWOOD, CA – On October 30 at about 7:50 p.m. an unidentified suspect shot one of the windows in a structure with a pellet gun along the 3300 block of Camby Road in Antioch.

At about 8:25 p.m. unidentified suspects wearing clown masks and armed with handguns robbed a pizza delivery person near the intersection of Johnson and Gentrytown in Antioch. The take in this robbery was a cell phone and wallet. Fortunately the delivery person was not harmed.

At about 11:40 p.m. a Brentwood resident arrived home and parked in front of her residence in the 1200 block of Picadilly Lane (Brentwood) when suddenly a black 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix stopped next to her. A male wearing a ski mask approached while pointing a handgun and demanded her purse and phone which she surrendered. The male fled the area in the Pontiac, but the victim was able to obtain the vehicle license plate and called 911.

Fortunately the victim was not injured.

A short time later, an Antioch officer located the suspect vehicle in Antioch and a pursuit ensued. Objects were being thrown from the vehicle during the pursuit until a high risk stop was conducted and six male juvenile occupants (all from Antioch) were taken into custody without incident. Evidence associated with all three of the above crimes was recovered leading investigators to believe the crime spree had come to an end.

According to Brentwood Police Lt. Doug Silva, two pellet guns and real gun were recovered.

All six juveniles were booked into the Contra Costa County Juvenile Detention Facility on robbery charges.

The Brentwood Police Department would like to publicly thank the Antioch Police Department for their assistance in this investigation. Without their help, these juveniles may have been free to commit additional robberies.

If you have any additional information regarding the above incidents, please contact Detective Brian Lodge at the Brentwood Police Department (925-809-7748) or [email protected].
