Brentwood: Runner Struck by Ford Mustang in Hit and Run

The Brentwood Police Department is investigating a hit and run crash that occurred Monday just before 7:30 am in the 1000 block of Mill Creek Way in the City of Brentwood.

Police arrived on scene where they located a female down in the roadway where she was alert and conscious.

According to preliminary information, a white mustang accelerated through an intersection at Mill Creek and Diamond Springs where the driver struck the female running where she ended up on the hood and then hit the ground causing pain in her neck and back. The driver drove off and did not stop.

She was transported to a local hospital for further evaluation.

Police are investigating the incident and are searching for the vehicle.
