Brentwood Police Seek Public Assistance in Felony Hit and Run

The Brentwood Police Department is seeking assistance from the public for a felony hit and run incident that occurred on Thursday June 30th.

The incident occurred at 5:33 pm where a victim was operating his wheelchair northbound on Brentwood Boulevard just north of Havenwood Avenue in an area not designated for vehicular traffic. Suddenly, he was struck from behind by an unidentified motorist driving a burgundy colored SUV.

The victim was ejected out of his wheelchair onto the pavement and suffered facial and head abrasions requiring medical attention. The suspect failed to stop at the collision scene and fled Northbound on Brentwood Boulevard, possibly turning Eastbound onto Sunset Road before disappearing from sight.

Brentwood Police is seeking assistance and information from anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
