On Wednesday morning, the Brentwood Police Department were dispatched to a report of a body found on Sand Creek Trail in the City of Brentwood.
The body was located in the creek area near a homeless encampment behind the AMC Theatres at the Streets of Brentwood.
As of 9:30 am, Brentwood Police on scene confirmed the dead body and the death appears suspicious in nature but it was too early in the investigation to release any details as detectives have been requested to respond. The area has been blocked off by police to protect the scene and it was not confirmed if the person was homeless or not.

Person described as a African American male in his 30’s to 40″s.
3:55 pm Update: UNIDENTIFIED DECEASED MALE FOUND
On December 15th, 2021 at 08:20AM the Brentwood Police Department received a call of an apparent dead body located in a creek adjacent to State Route 4 and Old Sand Creek Rd.
Officers arrived on scene and found the body of an unidentified adult male partially submerged in the creek.
The decedent’s body was released to the Contra Costa Coroner’s Officer where an autopsy will be performed and his identity confirmed.
Preliminary inspection of the body revealed no outward signs of injury or foul play.

This is the second murder of a homeless person in Brentwood this year. We need to take care of this riffraff and keep our city safe.
Its unknown as of 10:50 am if its a murder or not.

You’ll need to turn yourself in Daniel. You know more than most, about this. Sounds like you’ve got some info, son . They’ll just locate you from your email address. Make it easier and come down to the department and talk, or do it the hard way/SWAT. Think about it, son.

Maybe you should consider how EASY it would be for YOU to become HOMELESS. Then, ask YOURSELF am I RIFFRAFF???
Did you know,like this man. 6 other homeless people have died or been missing in brentwood last year. This year before this one 2 more have been considered missing and or dead? I use to be homeless in brentwood. Just 6 months ago.. I’m now clean and soberand no longer homeless.. but Trust me when I say brentwood does not like homeless people.
