Our vehicles are now made like aluminum cans! Can be crushed like those cans as well. This is why I like vehicles from the 1960’s and 1970’s … sturdy and heavy. Muscle cars! I simply don’t trust what’s being put out today. They are death traps!

It sounds like you don’t know the entire story about this vehicle accident. The woman who died was turning left when the man traveling down Brentwood Blvd was driving approximately 90-100mph, weaving in and out of traffic, and sometimes into on coming traffic. He was inebriated. He t-boned the victim’s car at high rate of speed. Regardless of the “aluminum can” comparison, with an impact of that high rate of speed, any car would have been destroyed.

Enjoy your muscle cars, that’s great for you. The rest of us will mourn an innocent person who lost their life.

Of course we mourn the unfortunate woman …. I hope her killer never sees the light-of-day! You bet I enjoy my muscle cars because they keep my family safe! The lady who lost her life could have probably saved it had she drove one of the cars designed by Carroll Shelby and John DeLorean …. 1978 Olds 442, the 1968 964 Pontiac GTO, the 1968 Buick Skylark. Those cars should return and people should drive them to save their own lives and those of others.

John you don’t know if he was inebriated or not, I happen to know the guy and to my knowledge he doesn’t drink

The woman who died could have survived, maybe not in the best of shape, but made it. It’s YOU who have no clue! She might have survived if she was in a very heavy vehicle made with lots of strong steal. I’ve seen the aftermath of cars like the Mercury Cougar from the 1970’s and how even high speed vehicles running into them resulted in minimal damage to the “muscle” car and it’s driver and passengers. The “aluminum” car became an accordion! I’ve attended car sales shows and the muscle cars get snapped up quickly. Maybe the automotive industry should take a look why.

If he wasn’t drunk, then what the hell was his problem? Drugs?
