Brentwood Police Discover Loaded Firearm During Pedestrian Stop

Brentwood Police announced the arrest of Joseph Dalessio, 30 of Antioch, in the 400 block of Walnut Boulevard.

According to the police officers association, officers conducted a pedestrian stop on Dalessio. During the contact, dispatch advised officers that Dalessio had a warrant for his arrest. A search of Dalessio revealed a loaded and concealed firearm.

Dalessio was also in possession of narcotics paraphernalia, a shaved key (burglary tool), and a window punch.

Dalessio was subsequently booked at Martinez Detention Facility for numerous charges.


According to our records, here is a list of incidents where he showed up in the Antioch Police briefs:

  • On 10/17/2016 at 10:35 am, 30 year old Joseph Dalessio was contacted during a pedestrian stop in the area of E 6th St. and E St. A name check revealed he had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant for his arrest. He was arrested without incident and transported to the county jail.

 

  • On 7/13/16 at 7:13 pm, 29 year old Joseph Dalessio was contacted on E. 18th St. and Drive-In Way after an officer recognized him and knew he had a warrant.  He was contacted and arrested without incident and booked into county jail.

 

  • On 2/11/16 at 3:41 am, officers were dispatched to Goodwill at 2701 Verne Roberts Cir on a report of a video verified alarm. The alarm company advised a subscriber would be en-route to the location. Officers arrived on scene and contacted both 29 year old Joseph Dalessio and 38 year old Angela Pena. They were placed under citizens arrest by the subscriber for trespassing and petty theft. Dalessio was recently identified by APD for Brentwood as a responsible in a grand theft case based on a flier Brentwood PD distributed. Dalessio is on probation and he was sent to county jail. Pena was released on a signed promise to appear.

 

  • On 7/10/15 at 8:29 pm, officers responded to the Antioch Marina at 5 Marina Pl. on the report of two males handling a gun the Dow Wetlands. Officers arrived and located 41 year old Lee Tant and 28 year old Joseph Dalessio. Both were found to be on probation with search clauses. Tant had a fixed blade knife concealed in his rear pant pocket, along with methamphetamine and a pipe. Dalessio did not have anything illegal but did have 2 pellet guns in his backpack. He advised that they were shooting at a piece of wood. Tant was arrested for possession of a dirk or dagger, a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. He was booked at the county jail on these charges as well as probation violation.

Stupid ghetto criminals will never learn that outside Antioch, they are not protected and will be arrested.
