Brentwood Police Arrest Two Suspects in Attempted Jewelry Store Burglary

The Brentwood Police Department arrested two individuals Saturday morning in connection with an attempted burglary of K and Co Family Jewelers in the City of Brentwood.

K and Co Family Jewelers reported on Friday (see photo) on social media that their security system caught a subject attempting to break in and asked the public for help identifying the suspect.

The suspect returned Saturday morning where police say at approximately 1:40 am, two arrests were made. The suspects were identified as Charlie Bland, 54 of Antioch, and Barbara Rivera, 30 of Antioch/Oakland. They were found to be in possession of burglary tools and the case is still under investigation.

Both were booked into county jail on charges of 664/459 PC, 182 PC, 466 PC, and others.
