Brentwood Police Arrest Man Who Brandished Firearm at Local Bar

Brentwood Police reported they took a Sacramento man into custody after he made threats to patrons at a local bar while brandishing a firearm in the City of Brentwood.

According to police, early Sunday morning, Brentwood officers were dispatched to the 600 block of First Street for a report of a male acting belligerent and attempting to fight other patrons. Dispatch then received several calls stating that the subject had a handgun.

When officers arrived on scene several witnesses pointed to where the subject was walking. Officers immediately located the subject, identified as Allen Green (Sacramento), who was in possession of a gun. He was safely taken into custody and placed under arrest.

Witnesses on scene told officers that Green had made threats to shoot people and had shown his gun while making these threats.

Green, a convicted felon, was placed under arrest for being a felon in possession of a firearm, exhibiting a firearm, criminal threats, among several other charges.

He was transported to the Martinez Detention facility for booking.

No other information was released.
