by ECT

The Brentwood Police Department is reporting they have arrested a juvenile after a shots fired call who three days later returned to the area and was arrested armed with a “ghost gun”.

Officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of Anastasia Drive for a report of a gunshot heard in the area and a male juvenile who was reported to have been holding a back semi-automatic handgun. Shortly before Officers arrived the suspect had fled the scene.

There were no victims and the suspect was not found.

Police say three days later, Officers were dispatched to the same area as the reporting party from the previous call told Dispatch that the suspect had returned.

Officers arrived on scene and immediately detained the suspect, and found a loaded black semi-automatic handgun in the waistband of the suspect. The firearm is what is commonly called a “ghost gun,’ as it had no serial numbers, and it also had a thirty round extended magazine.

The suspect, who cannot be named as they are a juvenile, was placed under arrest for being in possession of loaded firearm, among other charges, and was transported to Juvenile Hall for booking.

Editors Note – Brentwood Police did not release the days this occurred.
