by ECT

The Brentwood Police Department announced the arrest of three individuals in connection with a theft at TJ Maxx.

According to police, last week, Brentwood police officers were dispatched to T.J Maxx for a report of a theft. When officers arrived they saw the reported suspects attempting to leave in a vehicle and  conducted a traffic stop

Once officers contacted the occupants of the vehicle they discovered that the driver, Stephen Imada (Oakley) did not have a driver license. The passengers; Jessica Taylor (Newark) and Annie Keller (San Francisco), both had outstanding warrants for their arrests.

A search of the vehicle revealed approximately $1,400 in stolen clothing from T.J Maxx, along with several bags of suspected stolen property. Officers also found fentanyl, heroin, methamphetamine and other drug paraphernalia.

Imada, Taylor, and Keller, were all placed under arrest for organized retail theft, possession of controlled substances, drug paraphernalia, outstanding warrants; among other charges. The involved vehicle was towed; and Imada, Taylor, and Keller were booked at the Martinez Detention Facility.
