At 6:45 pm Tuesday, the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District responded to a report of a vehicle versus motorcycle crash in the 7900 block of Balfour Road in the City of Brentwood.
Upon arrival, Engine 52 reported a motorcyclist was down in the roadway and requested a medical helicopter. Another vehicle was also involved and a second AMR unit was requested to the scene to transport that driver to a local hospital.
According to Engine 52 crew, the 59-year-old motorcyclist did lose consciousness and sustained several other injuries from the crash.
No other information was readily available.
