On Tuesday August 25th, the trunk of a large tree estimated at 55 feet tall in the 200 block of Pine Street in Brentwood split.
According Brad Yoder, a client noticed the tree split and alerted Brentwood. It appears that there has been many years of rot and insect infestation in the middle and top of the main trunk.
Residents and students of Liberty High and Adult school are asked to avoid the area – as it appears it could the giant branch (including almost half of the tree) could fall at any time.

Sad to lose the old tree but the city doesn’t take care of things so no surprise. There will be a lot more with the drought. You need to water the trees for health reasons.
