Crews arrived on scene to the single-story home with light smoke coming from the eves and the front door.  Upon further investigation, fire crews located a fire between two roof layers which was spread under the metal Cal-Pack roof. Crews were able to extinguish the fire after pulling up the metal roof.

According to battalion chief Jeff Burris, there was heavy fire damage to the roof above the garage with smoke and water damage to the interior.  The cause of the fire was under investigation.
