Brentwood Announces Scarecrows in the Park Winners

BRENTWOOD, CA – The community has been enjoying this year’s variety of scarecrows.  This year a record twenty-nine (29) scarecrows are being displayed in City Park for the public to enjoy.

Members of the City’s Youth Commission and Arts Commission judged the entries with the winners as follows:

• 1^st Place – Gru & Minions from Created By You Art Studio
• 2^nd Place – Jack Skellington from the G6 Kids
• 3^rd Place – Don’t Trash Our Future from Ms. Lily & Friends Preschool
• 4^th Place – D.I.G. from Delta Informal Gardeners

City staff would like to thank all participants who showed great creativity in their scarecrows.   This is a fun, festive event for all of the community enjoy.  We hope to see the program grow again next year to reach a goal of 50 scarecrows in the park!
