At 11:25 am Saturday, the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District and AMR responded to the 700 block of Jennifer Street off Garin Parkway in Brentwood on a report of a burn victim.
A medical helicopter was requested after the patient was a 20-month old male who suffered second-degree burns to the face and back.
The cause of the burns was officially listed as “unknown” according Battalion Chief Jeff Burris and the patient was transported to a hospital by air ambulance.
