Brentwood: 18-Year-Old Driver Airlifted to Hospital After Rollover Crash

At 10:53 pm Wednesday, the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District responded to a report of a vehicle accident at Concord Avenue and Ventura.

Engine 52 arrived on scene to find a single vehicle that had rolled over at least three times before resting on its roof. They stated the 18-year-old driver was out of the vehicle.

According to the District, fire crews and AMR provided patient assessment and treatment and was determined due to a head-injury, they opted to fly him by medical helicopter to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek.

The incident is being investigated by the Brentwood Police Department and the probable cause by the District is being listed as excessive speed.
