Be Exceptional Winter Ball Seeking Last Minute Donations

by ECT

Registration is still open while donations are needed for the Be Exceptional Winter Ball for special needs students ages 14 and up on December 10 at 6:30 pm at the Brentwood Community Center.

“After not being able to do events or dances for almost two-years, we want to provide the students with exceptional needs the same opportunity as their peers with a Winter Ball complete with Dj, photographer snd food all donated by local community partners,” said Lynda Green.

Be Exceptional program is a Antioch based nonprofit 501 c3 that provides recreational classes and social events for students of all ages and abilities—the organization has been putting on social events for 10-years while teaching dance and recreational classes for all abilities for 30-years.

They are currently holding classes in the following three locations:

  • Elite Dance Center at 304 G St., Antioch
  • Antioch Community Center at 4703 Lone Tree Way, Antioch
  • Brentwood Community Center at 35 Oak St., Brentwood

According to the organization, for the December 10 event, they are in need of community sponsors to donate pizza, snacks and drinks—or even gift cards to allow them to purchase items for this specific event. For more information, visit  BeExceptionalprograms.com or email  [email protected] .
