August 5-11: Brentwood Police Calls

The following are a sampling of calls handled by Brentwood Police between August 5-11 according to information provided by Brentwood Police.

Assault

  • 8/9 – Guthrie Lane: ARRs battered VIC after a verbal altercation escalated. ARR-1 released on a signed PTA, ARR-2 released on a signed juvenile affidavit.
  • 8/9 – Hallmark Way: VIC said RES pushed her head during an argument. VIC wanted the incident documented only.
  • 8/10 – Brentwood Blvd: VIC was in a physical confrontation with RES on Sunday (08/07/16). No prosecution desired at this time.
  • 8/11 – Treadwell Ct.: ARR and RES’ were involved in a physical altercation with each other. One subject fell from a moving vehicle and was transported to JMMC.

Auto Theft

  • 8/7 – Village Dr.: VEH reported stolen and found a couple hours later.
  • 8/9 – Sycamore Ave: Responsible took victim’s black 2004 Ford Expedition from apartment complex. All keys accounted for.

Burglary – Business

  • 8/8 – Brentwood Blvd: RES damaged gate and entered the property of the business and stole welding equipment. Occurred between 08/05/16 and 08/08/16.
  • 8/11 – Mountain View Dr: RES forced the maintenance tool shed roll-up door open and took power tools and hand tools. Estimated loss valued at $1670.
  • 8/11 – Sand Creek Rd: RES-1 and RES-2 stole handbags from the business.
  • 8/11 – O’Hara Ave: ARR-1 shoplifted, while ARR-2 stole fishing bait. ARR-1 found in possession of barbiturates, marijuana, and burglary tools. ARR-2 found in possession of paraphernalia. ARR-1 to MDF, ARR-2 released on PTA.

Burglary – Theft from Auto

  • 8/6 – Edgefield St.: Veh window broken. Unknown loss at this time.
  • 8/8 – Lone Tree Way: Responsible smashed passenger side window and entered vehicle, removing items from glove box, trunk, and center console. Social Security cards, clothing, vehicle registration, and wallet.
  • 8/9 – Brentwood Blvd: VIC’s vehicle was entered through door lock cylinder and ignition cylinder damaged in attempt to steal vehicle.
  • 8/9 – Sand Creek: VIC’s vehicle’s window was broken out, and purse removed.
  • 8/9 – Sand Creek: RES pried out the door locks to gain access to VEH. RES stole VIC’s purse, and later used the debit card at Walmart.

Drunk

  • 8/5 – Oak St.: ARR was contacted and determined to be too intoxicated to care for himself. ARR was also in violation of his probation. ARR to MDF
  • 8/6 – Balfour Rd: ARR contacted and found to be too intoxicated to care for her safety. ARR was also on probation. ARR to MDF.

DUI

  • 8/7 – Presidio Dr.: ARR wrecked his vehicle, and was found to be DUI. ARR to MDF.
  • 8/10 – Shasta Daisy Dr: RP observed ARR drinking alcohol prior to driving his vehicle. During a traffic stop ARR was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol. ARR was transported to MDF for booking.
  • 8/11 – Second St.: ARR contacted for VCOO violation, found to be driving on DL suspended for 23152. ARR released NTA.

Fraud/Credit Card/ATM

  • 8/8 – Crescent Dr: VIC provided RES with $2000.00 via ITunes cards.
    H&S Violation
  • 8/8 – Balfour: ARR stopped for CVC violation and found to be in violation of Domestic violence order. ARR also determined to be transporting 2.7 pounds of marijuana. ARR to MDF.

Grand Theft

  • 8/9 – Balfour: ARR left business with cart full of liquor without paying. ARR located, identified and transported to MDF.
  • 8/9 – Brentwood Blvd: VIC received a phone call, demanding money for a family member involved in a collision. VIC sent $1800 and it was later determined to be a phone scam.

Narcotics Drug Law Violations

  • 8/5 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR stopped for CVC violations and found to be in possession of controlled substances. ARR released on a PTA.
  • 8/8 – Lone Tree Way: Vehicle stopped for CVC violations. ARR determined to be in possession of Xanax and on felony probation. ARR to MDF.

Penal Code – Other violations

  • 8/6 – Empire Ave: ARR contacted at location in violation of restraining order. ARR to MDF.

Petty theft

  • 8/5 – Brentwood Blvd: RES stole an Optima vehicle battery from the business. Total loss $271.24.
  • 8/6 – Pippo Ave: RES took VIC’s Mongoose Mountain Bike out of VIC’s garage without permission. Estimated cost $150.
  • 8/8 – Sycamore Ave: RES took items from VIC’s unlocked vehicles without permission. Estimated loss $80.00
  • 8/9 – Balfour Rd: ARR trespassed and stole $41.77 worth of groceries from VIC. ARR to MDF.
  • 8/10 – Havenwood Ave: Credit card taken from mailbox, and used at Round Table Pizza in Oakley.
  • 8/10 – Second St: ARR stole items and was found to be too intoxicated to care for his safety. ARR transported to MDF.

Possession of Stolen Property

  • 8/6 – Buckingham Dr.: ARR was located with a Safeway basket filled with alcohol that had sensors on the bottles. ARR admitted the alcohol was stolen and was cited from the scene.

Restraining Order Violation

  • 8/7 – Fourth St.: VIC called stating ARR was at residence in violation of a DV protective order. ARR contacted and admitted to the violation. ARR to MDF

Vandalism

  • 8/6 – Lawrence Lane: RES used VEH to tear up grass on soccer field
  • 8/6 – Second St.: VIC’s vehicle was keyed causing damage to the front passenger door.
  • 8/7 – Autumn Valley Way: RES spray painted VIC’s fence with anti-law enforcement verbiage.
  • 8/7 – Walnut Blvd: VIC vehicle window smashed. No loss reported.
  • 8/10 – Brentwood Blvd: RES painted a derogatory statement on VIC’s front door.
  • 8/11 – Brentwood Blvd: SUS was seen at window cutting screen by WIT. SUS, INV-1, and INV-3 ran when seen. SUS denied involvement. SUS and WIT have an ongoing feud.

Vehicle code Violations

  • 8/7 – Lone Tree way: INV1 entered business reporting a male stalking her. Upon PD arrival, INV2 fled scene, initiating a pursuit. Pursuit terminated due to dangerous road conditions.

Warrant Arrest

  • 8/9 – Second St.: ARR consensually contacted and determined to have a no cite Misdemeanor WAP warrant. ARR to MDF.
  • 8/10 – Sand Creek Rd: ARR was contacted along the Marsh Creek and found to have an outside no cite Misdemeanor warrant for FTA. ARR to MDF.
  • 8/11 – McClarren Rd: ARR contacted during a pedestrian stop. ARR found to have two misdemeanor warrants out of CCCSO. ARR released on a PTA.

Weapons Violations

  • 8/5 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR-1 stopped for VC violations. ARR-1 found to have an outstanding felony warrant out of the CCCSO for PC 29800(a)(1) and PC 30305(a)(1), in possession of metal knuckles, a billy club, methamphetamine TPW, burglary tools, and in violation of felony probation. ARR-2 contacted as the passenger
  • 8/6 – Balfour: ARR brandished a firearm on VIC. VIC signed a citizen’s arrest form. ARR to MDF.
  • 8/7 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR-1 and ARR-2 stopped for VC violations. ARR-1 and ARR-2 found to be in possession of a concealed, loaded stolen firearm out of Pittsburg PD. ARR-1 and ARR-2 to MDF.
  • 8/7 – Reddington Way: ARR found to be in possession of a concealed Dirk/ Dagger, suspected Methamphetamine, and than an one ounce of marijuana. ARR to MDF.
  • 8/10 – Rosscommon way: RES was contacted and found to be a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition.
