The following are a sampling of calls handled by the Brentwood Police Department between August 27 – September 9 according to information provided by Brentwood Police.

Auto Theft

  • 9/1 – Brentwood Blvd: Unlocked vehicle stolen (Occ’d: 08/31 1900-09/01 1800).
    9/4 – McClarren Ct.: RES stole VIC’s vehicle was VIC’s residence.
  • 9/6 – Brentwood Blvd: RES took VIC’s vehicle without permission.

Assault

  • 8/27 – Dainty Ave: ARR threatened to stab VIC with a knife and then threw a knife at her. ARR also picked up a large rock and threatened to hit VIC with it. ARR to juvenile hall.
  • 8/27 – Winged Foot Rd: RES put her hand around VIC’s throat causing no injury. Prosecution declined by VIC. Report for documentation only.
  • 9/1 – Grovewood LP: VIC-1 and VIC-2 battered by RES’s.
  • 9/1 – Cherry Tree Way: VIC/RES1 and VIC/RES2 engaged in a mutual combat physical altercation. No prosecution desired.
  • 9/5 – Capilano Dr.: RES is being verbally and physically assaultive toward VIC, her mother. VIC requested report for documentation only.
  • 9/8 – Second St.: SUS/VIC-1 and SUS/VIC-2 were involved in a physical altercation on campus.
  • 9/8 – Second St.: Numerous students involved in a fight on campus.

Burglary – Auto

  • 8/31 – Sand Creek : RES shattered the rear driver side window to VIC’s vehicle with an unknown object. RES removed VIC’s property and fled.
  • 9/4 – Brentwood Blvd: RES forced entry into VIC’s vehicle and stole items. Estimated loss over $4000 in medical equipment.
  • 9/5 – Brentwood Blvd: RES smashed VIC’s vehicle window and stole a backpack. Occurred between 16:45 and 19:00.
  • 9/9 – Sand Creek Rd: VIC’s vehicle broken into, and several items were stolen including a silver and black inert entry helmet valued at $8,500.

Burglary – Business

  • 8/27 – Balfour: RES(s) forced entry into the lobby of the business and broke into vending machines. Unknown loss.
  • 8/28 – Balfour Rd: ARR entered business to steal merchandise. ARR stole a bottle of alcohol valued at $27.99. ARR transported to MDF.
  • 9/2 – Sand Creek: 2 RES entered the business through the rear emergency exit. RES’ entered managers office but were unable to take safe or any property. No property was taken. Occurred from 0505 hours-0510 hours.
  • 9/5 – Brentwood Blvd: Unknown RES forced entry into VIC’s business by prying open the rear door. Once inside, RES removed a bag of car keys. RES then took a vehicle from the parking lot which was later recovered by VIC prior to reporting the incident.
  • 9/5 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR 1 instructed ARR 2, who is a 12 year old juvenile, to enter store and steal a bottle of liquor and in return, ARR 1 would give ARR 2 a marijuana cigarette. Both were arrested by Loss Prevention. ARR 1 had been previously admonished not to trespass at the business. Search of ARR 1 incident to a…
  • 9/7 – Walnut Blvd: Business window shattered with a river rock. Cash register w/ $202.50 taken from within. Occurred 09/06/14 1800 to 09/07/14 0715.

Burglary – Residential

  • 8/31 – Revenna Way: RES kicked side garage door and stole bicycles. Occurred between 8/29/14 0500 -8/30/14 0500.
  • 9/1 – Dawnview Dr.: Unidentified RES entered VIC’s backyard and stole his bicycle. Total loss is approximately $120.
  • 9/7 – Castellina Dr.: RES forced open and broke rear sliding window to gain entry into residence. RES stole $1500 cash, jewelry, and coins prior to fleeing out the front door. (1645-0328 hrs).
  • 9/9 – Portofino Dr.: VIC reported that unknown RES(S) entered his home through an unlocked door between 9-4-14 at 0730 hours and 9-9-14 at 1400 hours while they were on vacation. There is no report of any items missing at this time.

DUI

  • 8/27 – Gann St.: ARR stopped for VC violations and determined to be operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and drugs. ARR to MDF. ARR’s vehicle towed and stored.
  • 8/28 – Balfour Rd: RES vehicle collided with the center divider. RES was transported to John Muir Walnut Creek.
  • 8/29 – Chestnut: ARR was driving while under the influence of alcohol. ARR to MDF.
  • 8/29 – Citron Dr.: RP reported ARR was driving erratically. ARR stopped for VC violation and found to be DUI. ARR to MDF, VEH parked.
  • 8/30 – Susan St.: ARR stopped for VC violation. ARR determined to be DUI. ARR to MDF.
  • 8/30 – Brentwood Blvd: RES stole three bags containing VIC’s property.
  • 8/30 – Lone Tree: ARR vehicle stopped for CVC violation. ARR was DUI and transported to MDF. ARR vehicle stored.
  • 8/30 – Balfour Rd (outside assist): RES was involved in a DUI hit and run collision in CHP jurisdiction. RES was located by BPD, CHP took over the investigation.
  • 8/31 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR stopped for VC violation. ARR found to be DUI. ARR refused to provide a chemical sample. A search warrant was obtained, and with it a blood sample. ARR to MDF.
  • 8/31 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR stopped for VC violation and found to be DUI. ARR released on a PTA.
  • 9/3 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR stopped for VC violation. ARR determined to be under the influence. ARR to MDF.
  • 9/6 – Lone Tree Way: ARR was contacted and determined to be driving under the influence of alcohol and transported to MDF. ARR vehicle parked on scene.
  • 9/6 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR stopped for VC violation. ARR found to be DUI. ARR released on a PTA.
  • 9/7 – Second St.: ARR stopped for VC violation. ARR found to be DUI. ARR to MDF.
  • 9/7 – Oak St.: ARR stopped for VC violations. ARR was DUI. ARR to MDF.

Fraud

  • 8/28 – Brentwood Blvd: Unknown RES opened an account using VIC’s information to obtain utilities in Texas.
  • 8/29 – Second St.: Unknown RES used a stolen debit card and provided a stolen ID in an attempt to purchase pre-paid cards at the above location. RES fled on foot without any merchandise.
  • 8/29 – Brentwood Blvd: RES used VIC’s information to obtain utility services in Nevada.
  • 9/2 – Lone Tree Way: South San Francisco P.D. forwarded a Cross-Report regarding an unidentified RES used Vic’s identity to make charges on fraudulent accounts in Brentwood totaling under $700.00 dollars.
  • 9/2 – Balfour Rd: Walnut Creek P.D. forwarded a Cross-Report regarding an unidentified RES used Vic’s credit card to make purchases at Walgreens in Brentwood. Loss was valued at $295.00
  • 9/2 – Brentwood Blvd: VIC identity used in 2013 to open three accounts with Comcast.
  • 9/3 – Lone Tree Way: Cross report from Novato PD. VIC’s credit card number was used to purchase $185.47 of merchandise at Tillys.
  • 9/9 – Cerritos Rd: Cross-Report received regarding VIC reporting an unidentified RES used his identity to obtain $503.00 dollar’s worth of credit from Capital One Bank.

Grand Theft

  • 9/1 – Sand Creek Rd: Unknown RES’s entered business and stole multiple pairs of sunglasses. Total estimated loss $3,790.00.
  • 9/1 – Lone Tree Way: ARR entered business and stole various items. Total estimated stolen/recovered $1,048.00 ARR to MDF.

H&S Violation (not narcotics)

  • 9/7 – Hudson Dr: ARR-1 was contacted during suspicious circumstance and found to be under the influence of a CNS stimulant and in possession of drug paraphernalia. ARR-2 was contacted near ARR-1 attempting to steal gasoline from vehicle. ARR-2 had a warrant for his arrest. ARR’s to MDF.
  • 9/9 – Lone Tree Way: ARR contacted and determined to be under the influence of a CNS stimulant. ARR to MDF.

Misc. Information

  • 8/28 – Heritage Way: U.S. Postal Inspectors executed a search warrant and located suspected marijuana, whichwas seized and turned over to Investigations for follow up.
  • 8/31 – Sand Creek Rd: INV-1 and INV-2 are going through a divorce, and were engaged in dispute over bills and other civil items. INV-1 was texting and calling INV-2 in attempt to resolve the issues. INV-2 requested a report for documentation.
  • 9/1 – Baylaurel Ct.: INV-1 and INV-2 are in a dating relationship. INV-2 was trying to assist INV-1 into the house. INV-1 thought that INV-2 was trying to assault him. INV-1 requested documentation.
  • 9/1 – Central Park Pl: Bank of mailboxes appear to have been pryed open during the night hours.
  • 9/3 – Lone Tree Way: Roseville P.D. forwarded a Cross-report regarding fraudulent checks being ordered from a residence within Brentwood P.D.’s jurisdiction.
  • 9/5 – Lone Tree Way: RES contacted at above business in possession fictitious $10 bill. RES also in possession of marijuana.
  • 9/6 – Margil Way: VIC vehicle was taken 9/5-9/6/14 from 2030 hours to 0900 hours. Vehc entered into SVS. Vehc was later found at Safeway Balfour and determined to have been unfounded and not stolen but forgotten. Vehc removed from SVS
  • 9/8 – Crawford Dr: INV was accused of pulling INV’s hair.
  • 9/9 – Blossom Ct.: RP advised he contracted to have his cabinets re-finished. RP paid contractor a deposit, the cabinet doors were removed and the contractor has not returned to complete the work still in possession of the cabinet doors.
  • 9/9 – Rocky Creek Tr: RP received fraudulent check after sale from craigslist. RP did not sustain any monetary loss.
  • 9/9 – Stonewood Dr: RP and INV2 were holding onto a firearm for INV1, who has a restraining order against him. INV2 wanted to turn the firearm into BPD because he did not want to hold onto it anymore.

Narcotics Violations

  • 8/27 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR-1 stopped for VC violation. ARR-1 found in possession of suspected cocaine, ARR-2 had a cite releasable warrant. ARR-1 to MDF, ARR-2 released on PTA, VEH impounded.
  • 8/28 – Dunbarton Dr: ARR seen by WIT conducting a hand-to-hand transaction. ARR contacted and found to be in possession of marijuana for sales, concentrated cannabis and a concealed fixed blade knife. ARR to MDF.
  • 8/31 – Balfour Rd: ARR-1 contacted and was in possession of methamphetamine, ARR-2 was determined to be under the influence of a CNS stimulant. ARRs to MDF.
  • 9/1 – Lone Tree Way: ARR was placed under citizen’s arrest for shoplifting. ARR was found to be in possession of 3.6 grams suspected methamphetamine and transported to MDF.
  • 9/3 – Balfour Rd: ARR was stopped for VC violations and found to have no cite warrant. ARR also on felony probation in San Joaquin County with search clause. Search of vehicle located 4.8g TPW of suspected methamphetamine. ARR to MDF.
  • 9/5 – First St.: ARRs were contacted for using narcotics next to the school. ARR1 was found to be under the influence of a CNS stimulant, ARR2 was found to be in possession of controlled substance paraphernalia, and ARR3 was found to be in possession of paraphernalia and suspected methamphetamine.
  • 9/6 – Minnesota: ARR stopped for VC violation. ARR found in possession of concentrated cannabis. ARR to MDF, VEH stored.
  • 9/7 – Second St.: ARR contacted and found in possession of suspected methamphetamine. ARR to MDF.
  • 9/8 – Second St.: ARR was contacted and found to be in possession of methamphetamine for sale.
  • 9/9 – Second St.: ARR contacted and on probation. ARR in possession of suspected methamphetamine. ARR complained of chest pain and was released per 849(b) and transported to Kaiser Hospital by AMR.
  • 9/9 – Walnut Blvd: ARR contacted and found to be in possession of Oxycodone. ARR to MDF.

Other Violations

  • 8/27 – Broderick Dr: ARR(S) fled and were later located and determined to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. ARR(S) released on a signed juvenile affidavit.
  • 8/30 – Oak St.: RES denied service to VIC due to her service dog.
  • 9/1 – McClarren Rd: ARR was contacted regarding a suspicious circumstance. He discarded a hypodermic needle and fled on a bicycle. ARR was apprehended after falling off his bicycle while fleeing. ARR was on probation and transported to MDF.
  • 9/4- Second St.: 7 Mattresses were dumped to the rear of 648 Second Street. Public works responded and removed the mattresses.
  • 9/5 – Walnut Blvd: ARR stopped for BTMC violation. ARR found in possession and under the influence of alcohol in violation of the terms of her probation. ARR to MDF.
  • 9/5 – Brentwood Blvd: VIC said RES violated a restraining order.

Parole/Probation Violation

  • 9/9 – Walnut Blvd: ARR contacted and determined to be under the influence of a CNS stimulant. ARR to MDF.

Petty Theft

  • 8/27 – Harvest Park Dr: Responsible(s) took CB radio, cupholder, and two quarts of oil from an unlocked boat behind a business.
  • 8/27 – Birch St.: Bicycle taken from in front of Edna Hill Middle School. Occurred 8/26/14 between approximately 0800 hours and 1500 hours.
  • 8/29 – Larkspur: Unknown RES entered VIC’s parked and unlocked vehicle overnight and removed RES purse. Occurred between 8/28/14 1800 – 8/29/14 0720.
  • 8/29 – Chili Ct.: RES entered VIC’s unlocked truck and stole keys and wallet.
  • 8/31 – Lone Tree Way: RES stole 12 pack of beer and fled in unknown direction
  • 8/31 – McClarren Rd: RES stole VIC’s blue Trek mountain bike.
  • 9/1 – Celeste Way: RES entered VIC’s unlocked vehicle overnight and stole change, a cell phone and an ID badge. Loss: $130
  • 9/1 – George Ct.: VIC had front plate stolen from her vehicle. The front plate on her vehicle was replaced with. VIC does not have a time frame of when it occurred.
  • 9/1 – Central Park Pl: Items taken from unlocked vehicle. Estimated loss $150.00
  • 9/2 – First Street: Front and rear plates taken off of VEH parked to rear of business. Occurred between approximately 08/24/24 1300 hours and 08/26/14 1800 hours.
  • 9/2 – Balfour: Unknown RES entered store and stole an electronic cigarette. Total loss approximately $80. No injuries.
  • 9/3 – Balfour: RES took unactivated gift cards. Store manager did not desire prosecution, only wanted the cards back and RES admonished if located.
  • 9/3 – Sassafras: VIC’s Sirius Satellite Radio and Solar Charge station were taken from his vehicle during the night. Total loss approximately $350.
  • 9/5 – Brentwood Blvd: VIC thinks her wallet was stolen while at Food Max.
  • 9/5 – San Marino Ln: RES entered VIC’s unlocked vehicle and stole a phone charger. Occurred on 9/5/14 between 0135- 01:37.
  • 9/6 – Second St.: I-pad was stolen from the store.
  • 9/6 – Williams Ct: RES stole VIC’s bicycle on 9/6/14 at approximately 0005 hours from the porch. Video showed RES steal bicycle. Bicycle was found in RES’s associated address backyard. Bicycle returned to VIC. RES is outstanding.
  • 9/6 – Sand Creek: RP witnessed RESP take items from the shelf and place them in her purse. RESP left the store with items still in her purse.
  • 9/9 – Old Sand Creek Rd: Theft of Apple i-phone 5S, white and sivler from HHS, estimated value $650
  • 9/9 – 1st Street: Report of a cell phone taken from victim at Uptown Lounge. Occurred between approximately 8/14/2014 1800 hours and 8/15/2014 0300 hours.

Restraining Order Violation

  • 9/4 – Brentwood Blvd: RES called VIC in violation of restraining order.
  • 9/4 – Katy Way: RES and VIC were at VIC’s grandfathers house. VIC is the protected person in a served criminal protective order. RES fled prior to police contact.
  • 9/6 – Allbrook Ct.: RES has been calling VIC on the phone while still in custody at MDF, in violation of a served emergency protective order.
  • 9/8 – Brentwood Blvd: RES violated custody order.

Robbery

  • 9/8 – Sweet Grass Dr: VIC was approached by ARR who demanded his belongings while he had a hand in one pocket. VIC provided the ARR his belongings as he was fearful ARR possibly had a weapon. ARR contacted in a vehicle in the area. ARR was determined to possess VIC’s belongings and was identified by VIC during field s…

Suspicious Circumstance

  • 8/28 – Grant St.: RP reported INV followed her and asked if she needed a ride as she walked home from school.
  • 8/30 – First St.: ARR fled while being contacted during a suspicious circumstance. ARR taken into custody after short foot pursuit. ARR on CDC Parole for 215 PC. ARR to MDF.

Vandalism

  • 8/27 – O’Hara: Responsible(s) used black and white spray paint to write on inside walls of tunnels and railroad tracks at Sand Creek Road and Ohara Avenue.
  • 8/28 – Sand Creek: USPS mailbox damaged and broken into. Total estimated loss $1,000.00.
  • 8/29 – Fairview Ave: RES used an unknown object and shattered the front driver side window to VIC’s vehicle.
  • 8/30 – Tropicana Ln: Rear window of vehicle broken. No items taken from within vehicle. Occurred from 1600 hours – 1925 hours.
  • 9/1 – City Park: Juvenile RES’ vandalized the elevator in the city parking structure by setting off multiple fire extinguishers inside the elevator and the vicinity.
  • 9/2 – Second St.: RES(S) stole 10 fire extinguishers from the city parking structure. 7 were located in the auto shop yard at Liberty High School. A auto shop vehicle had all four windows broken.
  • 9/3 – Caddie Ct.: Unknown responsible(s) damaged a sprinkler head. Occured between approximately 09/01/2014 1200 hours to 09/03/2014 1500 hours.
  • 9/6 – Martin St.: RESP rode by on a skateboard and threw an unknown burning object on the hood of RP truck. Unknown object appeared to have created a burn mark on the hood.
  • 9/8 – Timberline Tr.: Sidewalk and fenceline defaced with red spray paint.
  • 9/9 – Old Sand Creek Rd: Graffiti on the cement bridge along Old Sand Creed Road.

Warrant Arrest

  • 8/27 – N. Estates Dr: ARR was contacted during a suspicious vehicle detention and determined to have two outstanding arrest warrants. ARR to MDF.
  • 8/28 – Leitrim Way:m ARR was contacted during a probation search and found to have a citable misdemeanor warrant. ARR released on PTA.
  • 8/28 – Broderick Dr: ARR contacted and found to have a misdemeanor non-citable warrant. ARR to MDF. 14601.2 & 14601.5 VC.
  • 8/31 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR was contacted and found to have an outstanding arrest warrant for a probation violation. ARR to MDF.
  • 9/2 – Jay Jay PL: ARR had two outstanding felony arrest warrants. He was located at the above residence, taken into custody, and transported to MDF.
  • 9/4 – Lone Tree Way: ARR contacted in his parked vehicle on a consensual encounter. ARR was determined to have a no bail misdemeanor arrest warrant for 242 PC. ARR to MDF.
  • 9/4 – Broderick Dr: ARR was contacted and found to have an outstanding arrest warrant. ARR resisted the arresting officer and was taken into custody for the same. ARR to MDF.
  • 9/4 – Harrison Ln: ARR- was contacted in regards to an outstanding warrant and placed under arrest. ARR was released from the scene on a PTA.
  • 9/9 – Ghiggeri Dr: ARR had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. for 777 W&I. ARR to Juvenile Hall.

Weapons Violations

  • 9/3 – Town Centre Tr: RES purchased and attempted to pick up a firearm as a prohibited person. Case under investigation.
  • 9/5 – Minnesota Ave: ARR was caught with a folding knife (3.5 inch blade) on school campus. ARR released to parent on a juvenile affidavit.
  • 9/9 – Sawyer Way: ARR-1, ARR-2, and ARR-3 were contacted in regards to trespassing. ARR-1 had two warrants for his arrest, and ARR-2 and ARR-3 were in possession of a short-barreled shotgun. ARR-1 and ARR-3 to MDF. ARR-2 was transported to the hospital due to a medical issue.
