The following are a sampling of calls handled by the Brentwood Police Department between April 29 – May 12 according to information provided by Brentwood Police.

Animal Calls

  • 5/5 – Turnberry Ct.: INV-2 was bitten on face by family dog. INV-2 transported to Kaiser DV by AMR with minor injuries.  INV-1 responded to the scene and took custody of the dog.

Assault

  • 5/1 – Balfour Rd: Both subjects assaulted the other. Neither desired prosecution.
  • 5/2 – Sand Creek Rd: RES struck VIC in face. VIC desired no prosecution.
  • 5/3 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR punch VIC in the face after an argument.
  • 5/6 – Brentwood Blvd: VIC was battered by RES.
  • 5/7 – Brentwood Blvd: RES’s engaged in a physical altercation where no prosecution was desired.
  • 5/9 – Walnut Blvd: RES-1 and RES-2 engaged in a mutual combat altercation.
  • 5/10 – Lone Tree Way: RES and VIC were in a physical altercation. VIC had minor injuries and did not want prosecution.

Auto Theft

  • 5/6 – Thyme Ctr.: VIC’s vehicle was stolen from the street between 5/5/16, 2200 hrs and 5/6/16, 0439 hrs, and located in Thyme Court. Vehicle entered into SVS and removed.
  • 5/6 – Berkshire Ln: RES stole VIC’S vehicle. Vehicle entered into SVS.
  • 5/6 – Clarksburg Pl: Unknown RES stole VIC’s vehicle. Vehicle entered into SVS.
  • 5/8 – St. Regis Ave: RES stole VIC’S vehicle during the night. Vehicle entered into SVS.
    (05/08/16 0000-1000)
  • 5/10 – Birch St.: VIC’s motorcycle was stolen. The motorcycle’s information was entered into SVS.
  • 5/12 – Brentwood Blvd: UNK Res took VEH without VIC’s permission. 2006/Ford/F350 Dulley/White/No Plates.
  • 5/12 – Second St.: Unknown responsible(s) stole a gold 1997 Acura 2.2 CL. Vehicle entered into SVS as stolen.

Burglary – Business

  • 5/3 – Eaglerock Way: RES #1 and #2 broke window to Pharmacy, entered, stole five bottles of Promethazine, and fled.
  • 5/4 – Brentwood Blvd: RES entered office and stole a set of keys
  • 5/12 – Sand Creek Rd: RES entered closed business and stole merchandise. Estimated loss $1500.00.

Burglary – Residential

  • 5/3 – Ranchwood Dr.: RES entered the residence via a downstairs bathroom window. Once inside, RES stole electronics and jewelry.
  • 5/10 – Bartlett Ct.: An unidentified responsible broke a window to the residence and stole a laptop and jar of change.

Burglary or Theft From Auto

  • 5/1 – Stonington Ct.: VIC’s vehicle was broken into between 4/29 – 5/1 and a patrol bag, rifle magazines, camping supplies, and sun glasses were stolen. RES also attempted to steal VIC’s vehicle.
  • 5/4 – Griffifth: Vehicle broken into. Picked driver’s side lock. Personal items taken from vehicle
  • 5/5 – Fawnbrook Dr.: Unknown responsible(s) stole a red and black Honda 5000 generator from a locked work truck
  • 5/6 – Canyonwood Ct.: Unknown responsible(s) stole tools from a work van.

DUI

  • 4/30 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR was stopped for CVC violations and found to be driving while under the influence of alcohol. ARR to MDF.
  • 4/30 – Foothill Drive: ARR was involved in a vehicle collision with a parked vehicle. ARR was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. ARR to MDF.
  • 4/30 – O’Hara Ave: P-1 rear ended V-2, P-1 was determined to be DUI.
  • 5/1 – Balfour Rd: ARR contacted after being stopped for a VC violation and found to be operating a motor vehicle under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. ARR to MDF.
  • 5/1 – Harvest Park Dr.: ARR was stopped in his vehicle during an assault investigation. ARR determined to be DUI and provided a blood sample. ARR to MDF.
  • 5/5 – Sycamore Ave: ARR stopped for VC violation and found to be DUI. ARR released to parent

Grand Theft

  • 5/1 – Lone Tree Way: VIC wallet stolen from customer service. Total loss approximately $1,100.
  • 5/1 – Flores way: VIC fell for phone scam. Estimated loss is $7,500.
  • 5/2 – Walnut Blvd: VIC advised a pool sweeper was stolen. Loss: $1200
  • 5/3 – Griffith: ARR admitted to stealing a firearm from the residence. Firearm was unable to be located. Firearm was entered into AFS.
  • 5/4 – Regent Dr.: RES stole VIC’s wedding ring with a value of $3500
  • 5/4 – Malaga Way: ES stole $8000 from VIC’s residence during a family gathering.  RES returned the money to VIC
  • 5/5 – Picadilly Ln: Unknown RES entererd VIC’s unlocked home and stole a TV.
  • 5/11 – Sandyhills Lane: RES entered VIC’s unsecured vehicle and removed property valued at $1100.

H&S Violation

  • 5/1 – Second St.: ARR found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia in violation of probation. ARR released on signed Promise to Appear.
  • 5/3 – McClarren Rd: ARR-1 was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance. ARR-2 is on probation and found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. ARR-1 and ARR-2 were transported to MDF for booking.
  • 5/5 – McClarren Rd: ARR was contacted and determined to be under the influence of a controlled substance. ARR consented to a blood draw. ARR to MDF
  • 5/8 – St. Andrews Dr.: ARR-1 and ARR-2 individually found to be under the influence of a controlled substance  while in possession of suspected methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and burglary tools. ARR-1 and ARR-2 to MDF.
  • 5/8 – Balfour Rd: ARR was contacted and found to be on probation and under the influence of a controlled substance. ARR released on a PTA and transported to Kaiser Antioch for injuries sustained prior to police arrival.
  • 5/10 – Second St.: ARR was determined to be under the influence of a CNS. ARR to MDF.

Miscellaneous Information

  • 5/2 – Maplewood Ct.: Documentation of messages discovered by a parent on a social media account.
  • 5/5 – Second St.: Threats were exchanged on social media over the nickname of Antioch residents “Yock Boys” and Brentwood residents “Yak Boys.”

Narcotic Drug Law Violations

  • 5/1 – Armstrong Rd: ARR-1 and ARR-2 were contacted and both were in possession of methamphetamine and narcotic paraphernalia. ARR-1 was also in possession of heroin. ARR-1 and ARR-2 released on a PTA.
  • 5/3 – Adams Lane: ARR and INV contacted at location and ARR was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine. ARR released on a signed PTA.
  • 5/5 – Second St.: ARR was contacted and found to be in possession of narcotic paraphernalia and on active misdemeanor probation.  ARR released on a PTA
  • 5/7 – Virginia Dr.: ARR and INV contacted during a suspicious vehicle stop. ARR found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine. ARR released on a signed PTA.
  • 5/9 – Bypass Highway: ARR vehicle stopped for CVC violation. ARR was found to be in possession of suspected ecstasy, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. ARR released on a NTA.
  • 5/9 – Fairview Ave: ARR was stopped for a VC violation. ARR was in possession of Methamphetamine. ARR released on a NTA.
  • 5/10 – Oak St.: ARR and INV engaged in a verbal dispute, then fled from vehicle. ARR located and found to be under the influence of a CNS stimulant. INV not located. Suspected methamphetamine also located in vehicle. ARR released on a signed PTA. Vehicle stored.

Parole/Probation Violations

  • 5/7 – Balfour: ARR was in possession of suspected methamphetamine and a shaved key.

Penal Code – Other Violations

  • 4/30 – Pasco Dr.: RES discharged four rounds from a 9mm firearm. No witnesses or victims found, and there was no property damage to any of the residences.
  • 5/2 – Balfour Rd: RES charged more for hair styling than the salon allowed and kept money.
  • 5/5 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR was stopped for a CVC violation and failed to comply with Officer’s orders.  ARR became combative and was subsequently taken into custody.  ARR was also in possession of methamphetamine. ARR to MDF
  • 5/6 – Balfour Rd: ARR ran from police but was apprehended. ARR found to have 3 felony warrants for his arrest. ARR to MDF.

Petty Theft

  • 4/29 – Minnesota Ave: Unknown responsible(s) stole a iPhone 6 from a backpack inside the locker room of Bristow Middle School
  • 4/29 – Lone Tree Way: RES stole a pair of shoes from Famous Footwear and left a green Jeep Cherokee. No prosecution desired.
  • 5/1 – Balfour – Elk Run Tr: RES-1 and RES-2 stole VIC’s sunglasses and cell phone while at the bar of Harvest Park Bowl. Total loss is $850.
  • 5/2  – Lone Tree Way: ARR took welder from Home Depot without paying. ARR on court ordered probation. ARR transported to MDF.
  • 5/4 – Grant St.: ARR was found in possession of a stolen bicycle, which had just been reported as stolen by VIC.  The bicycle was returned to VIC.  ARR was released on a signed PTA
  • 5/10 – Spruce St.: RES stole VIC’s silver Schwinn Ranger bike sometime between 05/09/16 and 05/10/16.
  • 5/11 – McClarren Rd: Scooter taken from outside residence.
  • 5/11 – Lone Tree Way: RES stole watch from location. RES fled on foot and dropped the watch as loss prevention was in pursuit.
  • 5/12 – Sand Creek: SUS stole clothing.
  • 5/12 – Second St.: ARR stole merchandise from store and was on misdemeanor probation. ARR to MDF.

Possession of Stolen Property

5/10 – O’Hara Ave: Vehicle was stopped for cvc violations. A VIN check determined the vehicle was a reported stolen vehicle. ARR was also in possession of stolen mail. ARR had a citable warrant for her arrest. ARR to MDF. Vehicle released to RO.

Restraining Order Violation

  • 5/1 – Astor Ct.: ARR was contacted inside the listed location in violation of a served restraining order. ARR was also in violation of probation. ARR to MDF.
  • 5/4 – Winding Creek Tr.: contacted VIC via text message in violation of Domestic Violence Restraining Order. Case forwarded to DA’s office for review.
  • 5/5 – Mill Creek Way: ARR was at the residence in violation of a served DV order.  ARR to MDF.

Robbery

  • 5/6 – McClarren Rd: VIC was held up at gunpoint by a RES-1 outside his residence. RES-2 took his black leather wallet containing cash and debit card. The loss is approximately $320.00.

Trespassing

  • 5/10 – Southwood Dr.: ARR1, ARR2, and ARR3 were contacted in an unoccupied residence listed for sale. ARR2 possessed a loaded syringe. ARR3 possessed drug paraphernalia. A citizens arrest was signed and all three were arrested and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility

Suspicious Circumstance

  • 5/3 – Hudson Dr: A grey Nissan Altima passed RP’s residence honking the horn. As it passed, a female voice was yelling for help. The vehicle was last seen north on Walnut Blvd from Rockwell St. An area check met with negative results.

Vandalism

  • 4/29 – Lone Tree Way: RES smashed his bicycle into VIC’s vehicle resulting in damage. RES fled prior to police arrival.
  • 5/1 – Brentwood Blvd: RES damaged VIC’s vehicle and stole his cell phone. Approximately $3,000 in damage to the vehicle. VIC no longer desires prosecution.
  • 5/7 – Sand Creek Rd: RES’s kicked VIC’s vehicle causing damage.
  • 5/9 – Creekwood Ct.: RES threw rock at VIC’s residence breaking a livingroom window. Damage $500.
  • 5/11 – Vivian St.: Responsible(s) damaged victim’s vehicle paint with a key or other sharp instrument.
  • 5/12 – Sand Creek Rd.: Driver’s side window shattered. No items taken from vehicle.
  • 5/12 – Sand Creek Rd.: Driver’s side wondow broken, no items taken from vehicle.

Warrant Arrest

  • 5/3 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR contacted and found to have a misdemeanor citable warrant. ARR released on a PTA.
  • 5/3 – Fir St.: ARR contacted and had two warrants for his arrest. ARR to MDF.
  • 5/5 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR was stopped for CVC violation.  ARR had two $25,000 misd. warrants out of Pittsburg(459 PC and 11377 HS).  ARR to MDF.
  • 5/9 – Walnut Blvd: ARR stopped for VC violation and found to have outstanding felony warrant out of Walnut Creek PD for Insurance Fraud. ARR to MDF, VEH stored.
  • 5/10 – Lone Tree Way: ARR contacted regarding an unwanted guest call and found to have an outstanding misdemeanor traffic warrant from Solono County. ARR released on PTA.

Weapons Violation

  • 5/6 – Lone Tree Way: INV and ARR contacted during SUSC and found to have a no cite warrant for 11377 HS. ARR also in possession of metal knuckles. ARR to MDF.
  • 5/11 – Brentwod Blvd: ARRs stopped for VC violations. ARR-1 found to be a felon in possession of pepperspray and in violation of her felony probation. ARR-2 found to be an addict in possession of pepperspray. ARRs also found to possess items possibly associated with identity theft. ARRs to MDF. Vehicle stored. Case…
  • 5/12 – Fieldcrest Ave: A probation search was conducted at ARR’s residence and vehicles, and he was found to be in possession of a concealed and loaded firearm. ARR to MDF.
