Antioch: Unattended Wok at New Oriental Buffet Causes Small Fire

At 10:24 pm Thursday, Contra Costa County firefighters responded to a report of a fire at coming from a restaurant at the Somersville Towne Center Mall in the City of Antioch.

According to police on scene, there was smoke and flames coming from the roof of the New Oriental Buffet restaurant. Upon further investigation, firefighters made entry to the restaurant and located an unattended wok which caught fire and set off sprinklers in the restaurant.

By 10:50, the fire was deemed out.

I hope this suspect is found. Take him and another illegal gun off the street. Crooks with guns hurts so many family’s. Sorry for the family at this time. Prayers go to you.
