A two-day blood drive for Team Matthew netted 115 usable units of blood. The event was held on Thursday and Friday in Antioch at St. Ignatius Church where the event had food, vendors, and jumpers for the kids.
“Thank you so much to all the people that made this blood drive event happen,” said Kristi Wisecarver Ouimet. “To all the vendors who came out and to all the volunteers who helped. It means so much to me that you were there. To Mike all the Red Cross people who have become great friends and partners with us in getting our community involved to help save lives.”
Plans are already in the works for next years event.
