Antioch: Rite Aid on E. 18th Remains Closed After Saturday Afternoon Fire

by ECT

A fire at the Rite Aid  E. 18th Street and A Street has forced the business to remain closed after Contra Costa County Fire Protection District responded to the blaze at roughly 4:16 pm Saturday.

We do not have details of what caused the fire, but it apparently began in a trailer behind the store which also caused damage to the building. Driving by today, the parking lot remains blocked off with a sign in the door. Thank you Elizabeth Anderson, Roman Smith, and Samantha Norick for the photographs.

@jerry it wasn’t an electrical fire. My daughter works there and was working yesterday, before, during and after the fire. But it wasn’t electrical she said!
