On Thursday, the Antioch Police Department announced the arrest of Hang Lin, 32, in connection with the May 19 homicide of a 30-year-old female on Big Horn Court in the City of Antioch.
Police say Lin was contacted at the scene and it was determined that he was in a domestic relationship with the victim. The incident occurred at 2:48 am.
Ultimately, Lin was arrested after a coordinated effort and investigation revealed he was responsible for the victim’s death. The Antioch Police Department thanked the Contra Costa County Crime Lab for their assistance with this investigation.
On Wednesday, this case was presented to the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office and Lin was charged with murder, along with a weapons enhancement for using a knife to cause the victim’s death.
Lin is currently being held in custody at the Contra Costa County Jail.
