Antioch Police Investigate Third Homicide of 2015

At 6:25 pm Sunday, Antioch Police responded to a report of gunshots heard in the 1800 block of Cavallo Road. While police were responding, they received a report of a subject suffering from a gunshot wound in the driveway.

When officers arrived they found an adult male on the ground and indeed, suffering from what appeared to be at least one gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he subsequently died. This case is being investigated by the Antioch Police Department Investigations Bureau.

Police stated they were in preliminary stages of the investigation and no further information will be released at this time.

Antioch Police stated this was the third homicide in 2015.

Shouldn’t this be the 4th homicide?. Wasn’t the 2 and 3 homicide on the same block in June? 1800 Cavallo Rd. And that Romi’s liquor store attracts a bad crowd. Seems to perpetuate drug dealing.
