The Antioch Police Department arrested an adult who ran into Romi’s Liquor Store on E 18th and Cavallo on Wednesday night.
The incident occurred during the graveyard shift while police were patrolling an area when they saw a male drop a pistol onto the ground. He quickly picked up the pistol and ran into the store in an attempt to hide it.
According to police, officers arrested the man without incident. They located the pistol in the candy aisle under a box of toys.
No further information was released.
