At 8:35 pm Monday, Contra Costa County firefighters responded to a report of a pedestrian that had been struck by a train in downtown Antioch.
Firefighters were later dispatched from 2nd Street to Fulton Shipyard where Battalion Chief 8 reported the subject as deceased near the water.
No further information was available.

Wow such horrible news.. My family and i were stuck doen there for 3 hours and i was thinking the train was unattached ..? poor person. May you rest in peace
