Antioch: Man Shot Twice While Sitting in Parked Car on Cavallo Road

On January 28, at about 9:44 PM, APD officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of Cavallo Road for several gunshots heard in the area.

A 35 year-old male out of Oakland was located suffering from at least two gunshot wounds.

According to Corporal James Stenger, it was learned the victim was shot while sitting in a parked vehicle in the 1800 block of Cavallo Road. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is currently listed in critical but stable condition.

Yeah, that little PowerPoint slide of the Chief’s is hillarious. Maybe he’s trying to convince himself with that slide so he doesn’t feel so hopeless with zero technology and half staffed police department. No business will come out here and no homeowners will shop here until people stop getting shot at Somersville town Center. If the guns don’t get you, a red light runner will.

A red light runner will…………Absolutely! I would never sit in a car on Cavallo no matter what time of day. I don’t mind driving through but sit still probably not.

After reading the testimony of the guy who killed 2 people on Cavallo last year for gang territory takeover, I think it’s safe to say the authorities should be more involved.
