Antioch: Man Shot and Killed on D Street Thursday Afternoon

At roughly 4:32 pm Tuesday, a man was shot and killed outside Joes Liquor and Food on D Street with two subjects fleeing the scene.

The Antioch Police Department responded to a report of shots fired and a victim down on the ground near Joe’s Liquor store. When officers arrived they found a male suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.  The incident shut down D Street from W. 18th to W. 20th as police gathered evidence and interviewed witnesses.

The following information was via Radio Traffic and not part of police information release:

• Subject may have been shot three times – twice in chest and once in the face
• Two subjects were seen running down W. 19^th towards G Street
• Subjects were described as Hispanic males – one with long hair/dreads
