Antioch: Homeless Suspected in Sunday Afternoon Trailer Fire

by ECT

At 12:42 pm Sunday, Contra Costa County Fire Protection District firefighters responded to a report of a trailer on fire in the 40 block of N lake Drive in the City of Antioch.

Firefighters arrived on scene to a trailer on fire in the middle of the field that was not threatening any structures. Crews had access issues to the fire due to large bushes and a fence, but ultimately were able to reach the trailer and make outside fire attack.

According to preliminary information, witnesses observed homeless entering and leaving the trailer earlier in the day and a short time later the trailer fire started. A fire investigator was investigating the incident.

Antioch Police also responded to the scene where they provided traffic control as the roadway was shut down.

Is this the future of the new homeless trailers the city plans on housing homeless? Just saying.

That’s exactly what my first thought was and another thing is the city made those people who lived on Wilber on private property leave because it was against city ordnance which then left them homeless. Their place had sewer, water and electricity and they kept clean. Cute little place. So now they want to take trailers and put homeless in them to live. I’m confused I thought it was against city ordnance to do this hence the reason why they wouldn’t let the people on Wilbur stay. So where they want to put these homeless trailers on
Fitzurine (I know I probably spelt that wrong)
only one place I can think of for them to put them and there is no kind of sewer, water or electricity. The City of Antioch are a bunch of hypocrites and a bunch of A holes!

Fitzurine? ROFLMAO! Good one! ^5 …. makes it look like it’s Fitz’s urine. Quite pissy!

On a more serious note, the city council members are nuttier than fruitcakes. No surprise!

Calling it like you see it. You are absolutely right. No problem making people homeless, but take credit for housing the homeless that their policies create.

Imagine the homeless squabbling as they try to get their tents into those RV’s! Then they will invade Skipolini’s and stink out all the regular diners. Eeeewwww!

FEMA trailers + Homeless = fires and death. Californian math.
