Antioch: Firefighters Limit Vegetation Fire to 2-Acres

At 9:22 am Friday, June 7, Contra Costa County Fire Protection District firefighters responded for the second day in a row to a vegetation fire, this time in the City of Antioch.

The fire was located on O St at W 4th St. along the railroad tracks and up against a commercial structure. Firefighters quickly mobilized protecting the structure and railroad tracks and limited the vegetation fire to 2-acres.

Crews were on scene for a little over 60-minutes and no injuries reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

  1. THIS HAS TO STOP! The authorities should have drones fly over areas such as this one to see who is setting these fires! We should not put up with this crap anymore!
