At 11:16 am Thursday, the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District responded to a report of an outside fire near the Antioch Marina in the City of Antioch. The incident sent a large column of black smoke into the air.
Upon further investigation, a large trailer was on fire between the Marina and W. 4th Street along the railroad tracks behind commercial buildings.
Crews began fire attack and had the trailer fire out a short time later as it was no threat to any structures.
The cause of the fire was under investigation and no other details were provided on scene.
