At 3:25 am Monday, Contra Costa County Fire Protection District firefighters responded to a report of an apartment complex on fire in the 600 block of W 14th Street in the City of Antioch.
Upon arrival, firefighters located an apartment unit with smoke and flames visible. Crews began fire attack operations with a crew making interior fire attack and a crew going to the roof.
In total, firefighters limited the damage to two units and red cross was requested for 2 adults. According to firefighters, the apartment where the fire started, no one was believed home at the time.
No other information was provided on scene.
