On Friday, Contra Costa County Fire Protection District Firefighters responded to the 3200 block of E 18th on a report of a commercial structure fire in the City of Antioch.
The incident occurred just before 3:30 am where firefighters arrived to smoke coming from the building. Upon cutting the door of an auto shop, they located a small fire inside a vehicle that was quickly extinguished.
Although the building was charged with smoke, the fire did not extend to the building. The East Contra Costa Fire Protection District and Antioch Police also responded to the scene.
No injuries were reported.
