At 2:50 pm Sunday, Antioch police officers responded to an overturned vehicle crash at Contra Loma Blvd and L Street where they arrested one subject.
The incident was reported as a technical rescue for firefighters with two occupants where the reporting party stated one of the occupants hid something in the dirt of a construction zone. Upon arrival, all occupants were out of the vehicle and uninjured according to radio traffic. Police arrived on scene where they found drugs on 1 subject and took him into custody. Police were alerted to the area where items were reportedly hidden and upon a search, located drugs and money. By 3:27 pm, Contra Loma Road was re-opened.
It’s unclear at this time what caused the crash or if the man was under the influence of alcohol or drugs. It’s also unclear if there was one or two subjects in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
We will update should Antioch Police put out more additional information.

Bad drivers and drugs in Antioch? NO …..WAY.
I am utterly stunned.
That dude is not a bad driver. He’s had problems with that car for some time now. He’s a good hard working friend of mine.
He IS a good hard working guy. Why dont the police plaster pictures of the perpetrators of all the shootings in Antioch? Because they never catch THOSE guys!
So the guy is a good, hard working, drug dealer. WTF. Secondly, if your car has such a bad problem that it would cause you to wreck and end up on its roof then you are a dumb ass and should not be driving it. Get a clue and support somebody who is not a drug dealer and part of Antioch’s problem.
I’m not surprised. Scumbags and criminal minded ghetto people always believe their kind are “good hard working people”. Geez… give me an F’n break… seriously? You ghetto filth love to stand by each other. Thankfully, this drug dealer and user didn’t run over a bunch of kids or hurt anyone in the process of his “hard working” job of drug dealing/transporting.
Let me guess.. the next thing these criminals are going to say is he is a father and big family person. Well… boo F’n hoo. Guess what? even Hitler was a family man. Even J. Dalmer had a mom. so really.. who F’n cares.
