Antioch: Annual Reuse Round Up Set for October 14

by ECT

The annual Reuse Round up will be collecting gently used items on October 14, 2017 from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Somersville Towne Center, Delta View Side.

The Reuse Round Up is designed to help those that participate in the Antioch city wide yard sale held October 6th – 8th to have one location they drive through to donate items they couldn’t sell or no longer want to local charities and to encourage those that could not participate in the city wide garage sale to donate items as well.

Charities such as East County Veterans will be on hand as well as other nonprofits to collect items.

Please check www.antiochyardsales.com for the list of not acceptable & acceptable items for the Reuse Round Up. Especially needed are blankets and warm clothing.

The first 50 people who donate items will receive a reusable bag with goodies inside as well as a tax deductible receipt and a small bag of compost.

No E Waste will be collected this year. Please take your E Waste to Delta Diablo, for free recycling Delta Diablo is located on Arcy Lane, just off of the Pittsburg-Antioch Hwy between Auto Center Drive and Loveridge.  Open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
